IGN: WLSSS Problem: as titled. The game quit unexpectedly then had the error code. Details: I was in HT with guild mates. It happens twice. Once (yesterday) during HT main stage, once (today) during right head pre-stage. Strangely I didn't have any DC issue when playing alone. But it happens twice and both in HT with friends.
What's the job of the character (WLSSS)? And did the issue occur anywhere else, and only in Horntail?
I'm an arch mage FP. I didn't encounter this in other areas. It happens only in HT map. I was just hanging on the rope as my guild mate is helping me getting an HTP. It DC twice.
When I DC for the first time, my guild mates suggested to change the Windows system language to "English (US)" because I used to use Chinese. Also they suggested to change the settings about non-unicode language to "English (US)" as well. I followed. Then during the game they also suggested I change the priority of the MapleRoyals process to "above normal". I followed too. That's all what I did. Then I got DC the second time. We then decided to report to forum as they have no idea what's happening. I didn't reinstall the game. My game is shown as "IMG" when playing.
If someone else face the same issue, could you redirect them to report it on the Forums as well so that I may check with Devs about this error code
I successfully got 1 HT run completed (a few weeks back). Then I didn't attend any HT run since then. But what I did was I updated my router before that specific run. In recent days I sometimes got DCed in cake boss. I feel it's a random network issue and probably can't be replicated easily. Feel free to close the thread first and I may report once again if the issue persists.

Thank you for the thread. I actually changed it to English already after the 1st time DC. While it's good that I didn't got DCed for the 3rd HT run. I don't know if that's related to my English setting. Since during anniversary nobody is bossing, I will try it again after that.
