Hey there, new to private servers for MapleStory. Is this server the #1 old school experience?

Hey guys, I'm an old school player from back in the day of 3rd classes (mainly around that time). I'm looking for the best old school Maple experience around, and that means the server must have things like the vanilla experience rate, as well as the vanilla meso and drop rates. Basically, everything maple was from those times. Is MapleRoyals that experience? I noticed on the front page, where it mentions the 11th anniversary, that there is 3.2x EXP, and increased drop and meso rates. Is this just an event? If not, can I ask the community what the #1 best server is for that old school grinding experience? I don't want any extra rates at all, must be pure vanilla old school (again, with 3rd classes and such).

Where can I find it? Much appreciated!

 

We're on perma 3.2x exp rates, and we have 4th job in this server, so probably not for you.

let me get this straight

you came here to ask about our rates, even tho everything is written in front of you, then decided to ask about our opinion on what is the best private server that matches your needs?

let me just ask my ex girlfriend if she has any cute friends i can date, might as well you know?

in all seriousness tho - this server is probably not for you.
3.2x rates are perma.

 

I agree with everything that's written on the comments. But, I feel like I understand where the question is coming from, so I'll answer with this:

1. Royals is the most active and has the largest community (unless you speak East Asian languages). So in that sense, it's the closest to what you remember, like having tons of ppl in fm ch1 and having some ppl to do content with. And still we would love more players.
2. 3.2x exp is VERY LOW. I'm gonna assume you don't have the same amount of time you had 18 years ago, and probably not even a third of that. Trust me, it doesn't feel like a private server in that sense.
3. IMO balancing here is very mild, so that means the feeling is pretty close to back then...
4. GMs and community here are great and very beginner friendly, which you will be smart to appreciate!

It is undoubtedly the n1 classic private server, at least the way I see it. There's only one more "similar" server and it's empty.

 

Only one way to found out! Play the game and let me know if this is the best. I think it’s the best but please let me know, I want to know what you think ^_^
I love the quality of life features that royals has and we just started the 12th anniversary!

 

I've only been here for a few weeks, and can say this is very accurate.

 

I think 3,2exp is better ( not get boring )
