i dont wanna chase vl members every run to make sure everyone updated. one player with incorrect files can make it disappear, which is really annoying. it should not let you launch the game without the newest files to make sure those things don't happen. thats all, thank you
Lots of players are on hiatus and only logg on to vl, these guys may not see the banners or warnings. Also forcing organisers to check with 11-17 other people to ensure all players have the correct version until the next event (which could most likely be 2 months away) is a big annoyance.
Idea for future semi-patches like this. Instead of a banner, and checking everyone installing the patch, simply add some content (NPC?) to the Audience Chamber) that will cause an unknown file error for anyone not on the newest patch (And crash) This would make sure everyone has the patch before entering VL.
