IGN: TheRiddler Problem: Lost WS (used it) > 10% scroll failed > Item still lost upgrade slot Details: I just bought an RC with 4 item upgrade slots from IGN: Friendly lvl 200 buccaneer (I talked to him and he can confirm this) and I used a 10% Claw Att. Scroll along with one of my 5 white scrolls. The 10% scroll failed and I lost a WS but when I hovered above the RC it now says 3 slots.. Please check chat in screenshot. I do not understand why it says 2 red lines cause my intent with this RC that I bought for 2B coins (!) is to use WS everytime until I get it to 91 Attack. I dragged one (1) 10% scroll to the claw then hit "Yes" for use of a white scroll. Then it burned to ashes above the character head and I was left with 4 WS but 2 red lines in chat? And 3 slots.. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I know its just a game etc but alot of time has gone into saving up for these items! Please look into this!

No I only dragged scroll with mouse to claw > hit ”yes/ok” for white scroll > then watched above character to see result I did not involve keyboard keys at all I am sure I rested my head on my left hand or something just to paint the picture
Also to be very clear as I am pondering this waiting for a reply: there was no second scrolling. I know for a fact 100% that I dropped one (1) scroll and then hovered above the claw. In fact I logged off right after it happened and did not continue playing that evening. There was no session as I only tried one scroll. I was planning on using all my 5 WS that moment (and was hoping of maybe landing one 10%:er) but I stopped when this happened as this happened on the first one and therefore I have 4 left. Some sort of bug happened there is no doubt in my mind. My only hope is that the people running this server can check some logs or something which I am sure will confirm it and then reverse it to 4 available slots. The 10% scroll failed so that I have 4 WS left is fair and expected. The only thing I am asking for is 4 available slots on a claw with those stats in the picture. Either if I get traded one from a gm or something or if they can reverse it manually I don’t know how that works. Best regards
This is something many of us on Staff have personally tested ourselves over the years, and we’ve determined there are no issues with the scrolling mechanic. I’m really sorry to say this, but there’s nothing we can do and it unfortunately looks like it was a player error, because everything appears to be working as intended from our end. We’ve used thousands upon thousands of WS during testing, and nobody on Staff has been able to replicate any sort of issue with this mechanic both with Legendary Spirit, and manually scrolling it. I personally finished my Kanzir and Khanjar recently, and used roughly around 100 or so WS between the both of them, by using the same method you used: clicking and dragging them over on my shad and clicking the yes/ok prompt. I didn’t use Legendary Spirit. I haven’t had any issues and both weapons are finished, but I recorded the scrolling process for a couple of reasons; one of them was on the off chance something did happen, there would at least be solid evidence so the Devs could look into it. For those reading this and are planning to scroll with WS, we highly encourage you to record your process. I recorded mine mainly to look back on the process and laugh/cry about it, and proof I made it myself on my non-Staff characters, but another additional bonus was in the event there might be a bug that we haven’t replicated yet, it would be very helpful to have a video so we can analyze it and replicate what you did in the video. If you have windows 10 press Windows key + G at the same time to bring up the xBox game bar. You can record easily that way, and it saves directly to your PC’s video folder.
