Honestly, I have no intention of making the person who filed the report understand anything.

No matter how many explanations I give, people understand what they want to understand, even if reason hits them in the face.

If you have access to the chat I had with the Russian, you can see that the phrase "I will rape your sister and make you watch" is something he was asking for through translation into Spanish, not that the action was going to be carried out.

And it's worth clarifying that the drama is caused by the person reporting, not those involved. If my intention was to cause drama, I myself would have filed the report accusing the reporter and his partner of leaving us in a bad mood for words that weren't meant for them.

So, you could say I'm enjoying the drama.

To do this, the offense would have to be directed at someone specific, and afterward, the person being insulted would have to explicitly ask me to stop harassing them.

If I ignore that person's request to stop harassing them, then the person being harassed would have to take a photo and upload it to the forum. But in this case, I only translated a phrase I didn't say from English to Spanish; I only helped translate it.

So no, they couldn't ban me for something I didn't say and that wasn't directed at anyone in particular. I only helped translate it, which would help raise awareness for someone who asked me for help. :3

Well, then it wouldn't be a "very smart move" not to report that incident. Now I understand that if you're a Crystal user, you have more advantages. I'll keep that in mind if it happens again and report it immediately.

Reason: Blatant Lootstealing
Details: Guy came into my map when I was killing Manon ~20% left. You can see the convo in the 1st screenshot. I'd mistakenly believed he only wanted to stay for the mapkill "need for ht".
As soon as I'd finished the boss, he unexpectedly looted all drops and left (couldn't see drops as it happened too quickly and dropped in the corner).
Then he sent a snarky whisper before I confronted him in smega (same screenshot). No remorse from him and continued to be a smartass.

I couldn't ~mapowner in time as I was honestly shocked; everyone else I've seen wouldonly stay for the kill. Someone even accidentally looted once with his pet after my kill but I was fine with it as he apologised.

Annoying as heck and seems in future I have to be that guy:
- "cc pls" as soon as someone portals in
- ~mapowner
- video record everyone

Lastly, to be clear that was the 1st manon I'd found after surfing 10 channels and I couldn't type more to him without compromising dps and getting dispelled/stunned.

 

Look, I’m not sure about this specific case, but since you seem new. Usually, people consider killing Manon as a BM move, because he doesn’t really drop much useful NX or items. He’s relatively rare and needed quite often for HT and Olaf prequests. So, while I’m not defending the specific guy in your case, it would be nice in the future if you could be considerate and avoid farming Manons

 

I appreciate that and would 100%(99%?) understand if he didn't maploot on purpose then leave right after. I believe that's the bigger BM move as it actually breaks ToS.

We're subtracting the issue that you had, no the dude that maplooted, was a dick and yes that's against TOS with the proper screenshots and reporting process. Just like littering, talking in the cinema, or stealing someone's bicycle.

We're saying being in the situation in the first place. Unless you need Manon for Horntail or 4th job quest, or Olaf it's basically rude to kill him, and actively hunt them down so nobody else can. It's not against the TOS in any capacity, but it's like people who don't put their cart away, people who don't recycle, or being the room mate who eats the last Oreo.

All I know is if he:
a) stayed in the map and explained to me without stealing loot, or
b) said a single sorry afterwards,
then I would be more sympathetic and nowhere near as pissed.

If his behaviour is not blacklistable, then yall are condoning people coming into your map to lecture you then steal your loot, just because they are mad they couldn't find an important boss.

3. DETAILS:

Glee previously traded my char MXDBishop out of blue at FM, asking me to sell him NX, and asked me to buy a Chalkboard which turned out to be untradable. After that, he did not compensate anything but asked me to advertise for him for 24hrs. I felt uncomfortable and closed the window, and Glee just logged off directly.

A couple of weeks later, my char MXDBishop traded Fame with Sull at FM, and after that when MXDBucccneer was trading Fame in FM, and Sull asked me to go Lounge to trade, where I found Glee is also his char. I defamed him. All conversations have been screenshot as attached.

 

I assume you just clicked on "buy" and missed it, but if you move the cursor over the chalkboard, it says it's untradeable.
No idea why he would ask you to go to lounge to trade. You can't trade there. Asking to advertise for him for a whole day is also wild, if indeed he did that.

Seems like an odd player to me . Put him on your personal blacklist and don't interact with him anymore I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
