IGN: DoorToNarnia, Patented, Gears, more that I don't remember Problem: Cannot get past character selection screen - MAC ban on account. Details: I played this server many years ago and quit around 2018 or 2019(?), but now I'm looking to scratch that maple itch again. I tried logging into my DoorToNarnia account and after I select my character, the client disconnects. From the troubleshooting guide, it seems like there's a MAC ban. I haven't tried logging into my other accounts (except TinyDiglett, which I guessed the PIC wrong too many times and got blocked) but I'm assuming that the MAC ban exists on those accounts too. I've moved to a new place since the last time I played, and I have a new PC. Can I get the ban lifted from my accounts please? I can provide all my usernames in a private message to a GM as I don't remember all my IGNs.
Hi there. You are not banned. The problem you're experiencing is most probably from VPN services being used. Please disable or uninstall VPN services before reconnecting.
Hey, thanks for the response and for moving this to the right section. My VPN services (Tailscale, Nordvpn) are disabled but I'm still unable to login. For reference, the error message is "You have been disconnected from the login server. Please try again later". Edit: NEVERMIND sorry I'm dumb. I thought disabling meant turning it off, but I had to actually disable the network adaptor in network settings. Thanks for the help and I look forward to playing mushroom game!
