Hello everyone. With the Balrog boss released I wanted to ask something.. Many mapleroyals players enjoy updates yet we don't want the game to eventually reach the current maplestory in terms of updates. So. Is there going to be a peak update also known as final update that royals will get in versions? I thought I'd make this topic ahead of time since many players may start to wonder that in the future.
Yeah, it was agreed that the Library will be the final update, so we are saving that for now and release once the server is ready.

Royals clearly steers away from the meta OG MS.. as someone who started early 07 in GMS and left it all when star enhancement scrolls were introduced (BB killed my gear, not my spirit, got to 200% potential main stat, but later updates killed the joy.) I can say that for more than a decade I am having fun in Royals in the same way I wished to back then, without breaking my bank! With that said, custom updates, events and other random surprises are always welcome. Adding new gear in new slots is not an issue, is a bless, reworking existing gear slots however, breaks the joy and this neither happened yet, nor in plans.
Can you guys imagine if in time mapleroyals gets enough funding to possibly release all the classes, but a re-vamped version so they feel like classic characters without the new sets and things? I apologize if this post breaks any rules.
