These Halloween baskets are an iconic piece of Maple nostalgia - so many people had them as kids. The community often loves creating brooms and hats at Halloween, for washing purposes, and nostalgia. I think it'd be great if we were to add the Pumpkin Basket, or an altered stats form of the Pumpkin Basket, to the items that you can use Malady's scroll on this Halloween. Viva La Basket!
Sounds like a good idea BUT: Since It's a lower lvl item than broomstick which rivals maple flags/swords/long swords/wooden wands with high int it should be only 5 slots so the market of the alternatives mentioned above won't be destroyed. A 12 int wooden wand for example costs 250-300m and with a 7 slots basket that can be witch scrolled will have no value since you can easily top it with 3 lucky slots +60/70%'s of 1h sword TMA
I'm unsure of the true impact on the wider market because the baskets and witch scrolls are acquired from time-limited event resources, during a time-limited event. Wooden wands are available year-round, so I would have thought that most new players throughout the year will still be using wooden wands due to their on-going availability and lower price tag. I suspect there would potentially be an increased incentive to join/rejoin the server during the Halloween event to take advantage of the ability to create a good basket. Those who missed out would have to wait an entire year, or pay a much higher price due to rarity when compared with certain alternatives. If it does pose a substantial risk towards the wider market, I'm sure the staff could reduce the slots as you suggest, or increase the amount of event resources to buy baskets/basket scrolls.
