IGN: shychica Problem: Screen freeze/lag, then I disconnect Details: I’ve been experiencing severe screen freezes whenever I use Genesis. I could also disconnect when I go away from keyboard. The screen freezes for a while and then I get disconnected, returning to the main login screen. I’ve tried almost everything - including removing my donor hair, eyes, and NX items, but nothing seems to help. Please assist, I’m really desperate for a solution.
I don't always DC and if i do, it's after being frozen for a long time but is your issue same as mine by any chance?
Wait I just realised you did fix it - by removing your pets... Did you find any other ways to fix it?
Hi my lovely Sha <3 Have you attempted to *not* use the game's native fullscreen mode, but rather install Magpie and use that for fullscreen scaling? I vaguely remember suggesting this to you but zero recollection of what was your reply. Also, like, do you have a dedicated GPU on your computer? All drivers are up to date?
Not without unequipping pets which is not really a fix IMO as we rely on pets so much. I've basically quit for now and hoping it magically fixes itself someday.
Yeah I unfortunately do - it's the exact same issue I have as dunkieez, I go frozen for a long time then disconnect. I recently tried switching my Cleric Sheep to a Bunny and it sort of made the freeze a little better, but the issue still is there.
Hey Autumn! <3 I tried this yesterday and will test today if it worked. Yes I do have a dedicated GPU and my drivers are all up to date. I still think it's not a pc problem, but more of a character issue because I don't get this problem on my sin account..
yeah no bishop are way way heavier graphically wise but once we got Ambong a PC with a dGPU it was all gone. I hope Magpie will make it better for you . Also make sure that it actually utilizes your GPU. No clue what do pets have to do with it LOL
Girl update....... It didn't fix the issue. I dc'd like twice in a row. Also pets because there are people on the forum saying that some custom pets are glitched, causing their dc. Applies mostly to pets that were not from maplestory classic. Likewise for donor items, so I'm about to go change my hair to something lame and boring now
