My BM is unwashed and utilized the HP quests, but I'm a bit concerned for the end game still. Kinda not too keen on doing Reuell's a million times just to be relevant. So given the following stats, how well will my BM fare from level 160-200? Level 160 Nothing equipped. HP: 8365 MP: 3127 STR: 65 DEX: 757 Damage Range is about 5.5k with everything equipped [items are on a mule rn]. With equips, I get up to about 9.6k HP and I could optimize a bit more. My AP allocations in STR is also kinda messed up, it's my first character, but I don't mind using a few APRs and fixing it. I'm also curious if there's any minimal washing that can be done, or if I even need to in order to participate in end game content; things like LHC and Rose Garden.
Basicly you got 3 options: - Grind raul quests to gain enough hp. - Remake the char and wash the new one. - Give up on doing most of the content in the game (HT, VL, neo tokyo and more). You need to choose whatever works best for you. Personally I did raul quests on my BM when I was in your situation but its personal, some people like them, some people hate them.
You can wash your MP 61 times, which would be about another 900~1000 hp, with olafs 8 and 9 that's another 1k hp. Leveling up to 200 would be another 600-ish hp. So you have about 2,6k hp on the table. Sadly you would still need a like 4~5 months of daily reuels to reach VL hp requirements. I personally did reuels on my BM, if you do not want to subject yourself to that then I would remake and wash.
Let's assume you wanted to wash your character now for 8k more HP (and had the required mp) so that you'll be at least fairly close to be able to VL once you are near level 200. That's 8000/18*10.5= ~4.66b on APR. If you think you can get that amount of meso and get another character back to level 160 in less than 4-5 months. It might be worth to make a new character. I would personally just go Reuels. You have quite a way to go before you'll start hitting roadblocks and are already fairly close to be able to do content such as HT and most of NT with some better hp on gear. None of which you should be expecting to seriously grind much before level 180+ anyway. LHC and RG dont require you to wash btw.
LHC and Rose Garden won't really require washing. You can do them with your current HP , although BM isn't a great class for them. You have enough HP for CWK, which is the content archers are needed the most for in the game. Horntail is 9.5k HP, so you're relatively close and can just wash out extra MP to get there. Auf and Von Leon are the main pieces of content you'll be gated from unless you HP quest a decent amount. They're pretty endgame though and I would bet most players never run VL even if they have enough HP for it. You'll also have plenty of time to daily quest before you're ready for them. Better to spend that meso on gear instead of washing.
Any boss where NLs shine, along with being nice for hamstring in Von Leon. Although often they do get muled, but part of that is because it's impossible to find archer mains.
