It's highly recommended to join a guild for socializing purposes because most people tend to hang out with their guildmates whether it's in-game or on Discord so it's hard to make friends just randomly encountering people while playing the game, and most people guilds as a matter of fact has "guild hangouts" in specific FM rooms so it's even harder to encounter players by just roaming around, feel free to drop your IGN though and I'll poke you if I ever see you in-game
