https://royals.ms/forum/threads/christmas-events-delay.252794/ Hello staff and community, As many of us are aware, it was recently announced that the Christmas events will be delayed, with no specific release date confirmed yet. I completely understand that delays can happen and I appreciate the effort the staff puts into delivering quality content. However, I would like to respectfully bring up a concern shared by many players: A large portion of the community plans their playtime around seasonal events, especially the Christmas event, which traditionally includes 1.2× EXP as part of the festivities. Due to this delay, many players are currently missing out on that expected bonus experience, which is an important incentive for leveling and progression. Since the delay extends beyond the usual timeframe, it affects players who were counting on this benefit during the holiday season. Because of this, I would like to kindly ask the staff to consider some form of compensation for the delay, such as: ✨ Activating 1.2× EXP until the event officially starts ✨ Extending the duration of the Christmas event once it is released ✨ Or any other temporary bonus the team finds appropriate This request is made with respect and appreciation for the hard work behind the scenes. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider this suggestion. Looking forward to the upcoming events, and thank you for supporting the community. —AI Tqing
I don't feel like I missed out on anything yet cause I believe the event will be held for its normal duration and just start late, might be wrong but we'll see when it actually comes. I did take a week off for the week of Christmas so I probably would feel let down if it wasn't on by then but if the trade off is having more bugs fixed or even some content released I think its a good trade to be patient. I wouldn't say we are owed any compensation since no harm was done, we don't know what's gonna happen with the event yet. You have every right to ask for what you think is fair and you did it respectfully but I've seen people demand things here as if they forgot they get to play a game that doesn't exist anymore for free, hope this can be a chill post and we get the event soon
Autumn event was skipped and Halloween event was cut 1 week short just to be followed by nothing. I hope that is not the case for the following events
Normally around this time of the year, the EXP bonus is already active, which is a great help for those who are trying to reach level 200 before the end of the year. It does not require a patch, only enabling it — perhaps a server restart. I believe this would not negatively affect the events that will come later, which will require a patch or update. —AI Tqing
I feel like events are a bonus and not something I take for granted but I'm taking a break from Royals over the holidays so what do I know
i remember , another delay https://royals.ms/forum/threads/christmas-2017.111766/ We even had a lot of time that year https://royals.ms/forum/threads/christmas-2020.179421/ Just patience, nothing more ! be good
half of me wants to say, go touch grass Another half also thinks...yeh it is a minor annoyance that there was a delay on halloween, no extension, then followed by no autumn, no thanksgiving and very delayed messaging. There is even precedent of events being extended, so was a bit perplexing. In saying that, life happens, and having a lively server is already a blessing
I was planning on not playing in december but only in January and february. Can my xp be reduced because I now gain more with the Xmas event buff than I should have had?
