Not sure if this helps, in times where my isp connection keep getting request time out causing me to dc often, i do use a VPN to connect for my account. You mentioned you're using a VPN - could you please give us a bit more information about this? Who is it with? Is it free, or are you paying? Note that not all problematic VPNs are necessarily on the list.
I used premium vpn. I am using this premium vpn alone. Since my vpn is not listed on the do not use list, I thought it is fine to use and I paid for the service. Please do let me know if I should stop using this paid vpn. Urbanvpn is what i used
