Description:

A cold wind blew through the ridges of the Forest of Patience. Beneath moonlight shadow, the chieftain shaman woke with the flame of passion flickering in his eyes.
In his dream, he had envisioned a way to bring back juicy lores to the maple world - a world in depletion of lores after more than nine thousand wishes had been granted.
The young tribal chief looked over the remaining members of his fading village. Despite their courage, they appeared ragged, tired. He knew that without soul sustenance, they would not last through another bitter winter if they remained here.

According to the dream, they would journey to the village where small pieces of wishes from all over the maple world were gathered.
There slept the secret of how Santas were able to fulfill such a large volume of requests at once. The purest, inconceivable energy, sometimes named as christmas miracle, sometimes as wish-granter.

In this holy night, it is time for snake shamans to activate the energy once again, with their own grand wish: the regeneration of the maple world.

I call this "A mapler's circle of life". We all start off killing snails, slime and mushrooms. Then, we move to orbis and level to 30 with exchange quests.
Then we grind and quest, killing higher and higher level mobs. The prequests for bosses begin when you start getting to third-fourth job advancement.
Then it's time for papulatus, zakum and so on. When those bosses feel too easy for you, then you start seeking excitement elsewhere. LHC, Von Leon, Auf haven, all those enemies you could only dream of defeating when you first started, are now within reach. Then, it happens. You reach level 200 and have become the ultimate mapler, start a new character and the cycle continues.

Christmas is only after Halloween, and we wait for the snackiest , and arguably the sweetest day of the year in 2026. Already expectantly waiting within the new year to enjoy MapleRoyals, creating creative memories with newfound friend. Santa Clause can get out of here! You came to quickly for us to part ways with Halloween. Leave us now, and let us enjoy regular classic Royals without any snow. Thanks, can't wait for another Halloween this year.

This is our second Christmas in RMS.
Together, we’ve been through all kinds of experiences—from grinding our very first character, challenging Zakum, Horntail, and countless other bosses for the first time, to creating our second and third characters and starting another familiar yet repetitive journey all over again.

From Roger’s apples to Shanks’ quizzes, from party quests to all kinds of leech services—there were moments that felt a bit dull or tiring. But we enjoyed the rush of leveling up quickly. The goal was always the same: to grow stronger and to create more team combinations with our friends.

We chose to place this journey onto a Christmas tree, because we believe these are memories shared by so many players. When we reach certain levels, we all find ourselves thinking the same thing—an unspoken connection among RMS players.

Wishing all our RMS friends and staffs a Merry Christmas. So… what kind of character are you planning to train next?

Description:

Clank. Whirr. Thud.
At the very top, food overflows. Then again, click. Whirr.
As it moves downward, the amount of food decreases and scraps begin to mix in.
Just as the question "Why am I even here?" starts to linger, another thud follows.

Further down, even that feels like a luxury. With no leftovers and no consideration,
only bones, broken plates and empty traces remain.
On a snowy night, the Christmas tree is no longer a symbol of warmth but a mirror reflecting a cold social reality.

Inspired by the movie The Platform,
we thought it would be interesting to express this idea through the tree's vertical structure.
On the left is a chef who quietly works every day to prepare food for hundreds of people,
while on the right is the structure from The Platform which feels like an experiment in human nature.

I hope the new year becomes a warmer one where we value food more and learn to share with one another.

Decorate the Christmas tree with many trees.
Many years ago, we set off from Victoria Island, choosing different jobs and battling snails on the island.
Now we are legendary collector, quest vurtuoso, ultimate adventurer, stopper farmer, and lazyafker.
Regardless, we are all growing in our respective fields, just like the trees behind us. (maybe not tree)
If mapleroyals is a Christmas tree, then my friends are the brightest decorations and gifts on that tree.

In celebration of 2026, here are some things that confuse non-islanders about Maple Island, or that we islanders hear all the time in non-islander confusion.

General Existential Crisis:
"Woah" "How did you get here?" "Why lvl 57 beginner?"

Confusion About What We Can Access:
"But you can dash, right?" "You can get CS/WS from boxes? "How did you make this guild?"

Confusion About Our Equips:

"You're farming perfect Maplemas lights?" "You mainly use surfboards, right?" "You only have 10% shoe jump scrolls?"

Confusion About Things We Do:
"You use weather buffs to train?" "You're farming Bot Def Scrolls?" "You guys buy fame?"

Confusion About Things We Say:

"What's an offland?" "Magelander? I thought there's no magic?" "What do you mean, badges?"

To see it with her own eyes, catspoop worked hard to level up and get stronger
In 2025, she set out on a journey to find that pink, round little thing
But sadly, at the end of the journey, all she found is a giant mouse

Though she missed her target, catspoop met many kind people and went on lots of fun adventures
The journey was full of smiles and good memories

Now in 2026, catspoop sets out again!
this time with more hope, and maybe some mousetrap and cheese~
Will catspoop finally find the mysterious pink creature this year?

Every decoration on the 2025 tree has a special meaning! Did you guess them all?
This year had some game updates, such as new boss content, skill changes, and more.
We also saw some players create truly legendary CGS. It was amazing!

Description:

For a lot of us, Maple was one of the first games that felt more like a place to hang out than a game.

Logging in after school, loafing around Henny Hunting Ground, not really knowing what you were supposed to do, standing in awe when a 3rd jobber would wipe the map with their new lvl 1 skill. Progress was super slow and half the time you were just chatting instead of training or getting locked out of Ludi PQ because another party was already inside.

This tree is about that version of Maple, before everything was optimized and efficiency mattered, and when the game felt bigger than your character and time moved a lot slower. Our guild name is Dulce, not because we’re fluent in Spanish, but because “Sweet” was taken and we went with the next closest option. There are only around 8 of us and we log in every day to hang out and slow down time together - merry maplemas!
