Hi, Yesterday I farmed monster cards in aqua road, specifically I finished pinboom, seacle, krappy and cico and also got some from flower fish and bubble fish. In the few hours there, not a single dumpling dropped and no fireworks mobs spawned either. They did drop red envelopes though. Today I noticed at ratz that normal mobs do drop dumplings quite frequently, so I think this is a bug regarding these (and maybe all?) aqua road mobs.
I noticed the exact same thing at trixters and green trixters. Plenty of envelopes, no dumplings or firework spawns. Is this just a thing that some mobs don't drop dumplings and if so is there a list? Would love to continue working on my monster cards and dumplings at the same time. Edit: Krip in aqua road does drop dumplings and spawn fireworks. Didn't get any red envelopes from them, but that might've been because I only was there for ~30 minutes. Unrelated but they also drop fried shrimp, which goes together pretty well with dumplings
