Yeah I probably did switch crossbow out for a one hand sword. But I have a habit of double clicking new weapon from inventory, that shouldn't be the reason as it's different item type? However, I did find that the server was particularly laggy during that time with couple of lag spikes

As per the above links, non-NX items won't just disappear for no reason, it's very likely you have dropped it by accident Would you still prefer Admins to do a check to confirm if you have dropped the item?
