I have been hitting these for 50min and still nog death.. And yes I am an archmage and will probably not have the best dmg if you compare to other classes but according to what I was hitting and how much HP they have I should be done in 10-15 min... quest bugged or am I doing something wrong?
This quest is pretty brutal for poorly funded characters, because the red crocky's have incredibly high HP regen. It took over half an hour on my bishop (I can't remember what level, probably around 150?). Also, despite being red, I think they are resistant to ice, and weak against fire - absolutely horrible for an I/L. Do you have MW20, or are at least getting somebody to cast it on you on entry? And echo? And SE on entry? Also, are you using any magic attack potions?
red crocky recovers HP very fast. If ur math shows that u can kill in 10 to 15 min, then you are doing 8.3k to 12.5k DPS, which barely hits the recovered HP. Crocky has 7.5m HP. I cleared crockies on my IL with chain lightning and a shit wand 8, and on my FP at 19* with meteor. Also, try Ssiws Cheese or Von Leon's Pourable Putrid Potion
