Hi everyone, First, I’d like to mention that I’m not a native English speaker. Recently, I’ve been thinking about upgrading my gear, and I’d like to get some suggestions from you all. My current setup is as follows: LVL/HP/MP: 170/17k/12k hel: zhel 16/28/17/17 (0) face: shiny nose 5/5/5/5 (3) top: 10/19 (0) bot: 19/6 (0) cap: 11att (0) glv: 17att (0) shoe: 7att (0) neck: HTP 21/23/23/23 (2) belt: 2/2/2/5 (0) ear: 2/10/2/2 (0) weap: 15luk/80att (0) I currently have around 8B in budget. I’m planning to buy 10att FS first. After that, what would you recommend upgrading next? I’m currently doing Papu/Shao/Chaos/Ephnia daily. Any recommendations for content that gives good EXP while making some profit (NX & drops)? Lastly, I’d like to ask—since I already have BS(lvl 172)/SE(lvl 130) mule, is there anything else you would recommend? I’ve also heard that CR mule is pretty good. Appreciate.
You are at a pretty good spot. I would do like 3 seperate tasks (because they arn't really related): A. Work on a little bit more HP via hp quests - 17k isn't enough for all content in the game. B. Work on untradeables and lower your base dex - better helmet, rings, HTP. C. upgrade CGS - 10 att FS is good, after that go for like 13-14 bfc. after the shoe and cape, the most efficient upgrade is probably a perfect RC. As for bosses, you can HT from time to time though you are a little low level for most parties. for mules, you can make CR, it is useful, don't have to if you dont want to do it.
Your gear is pretty decent. You should easily be able to host daily zak/krex runs for good exp. You could try looting a decent scar/tar hat so you can reloot zhelms to get a very good one that'll carry you until 200. Ring slots seem empty? They're very pricey for their gains but you have some disposable funds laying around.
People said similar ideas but here is my take: Id upgrade cgs to 43-45. While you save for a perfect weapon, you wont be upgrading for a while so the early investment into cgs will help balance your gear progression. Perfect or imperfect weapon. 91/19 rc is the gold standard, but you can get some deals for the 91 atk sub 19 luk RC, 90 atk RC, DPS, or DGS. These reject claws will be harder to sell later, but offer crazy ROI while you are new.
Don't think anyone has mentioned running LHC Rose Garden daily on NL / BS. It's a steady flow of EXP / NX / Mesos. & you can get a Godly rose ring. Drop Papu / Shao if you need for this Run duo krex. If u have 2 PC's run solo krex and duo attack with bowmaster. You need the ring. Once you get a godly and scroll it you can eventually can sell ring 40m(ish) per run If not already - consider selling skele leech at somewhat discounted rate (mage bit overleveled for full price) Weapon > CGS > other gear..
