1. Its a new account owned by me 2. I do not know any of the details you are asking , I recall I was at the Singapore Town map before I went afk Sunday night after I transfer the items from my other account 3. I only knew when I was awaken by him telling me the accounts were banned on Monday morning
Looks like there's multiple things going on here. Breaking it down, your bfriend used your account which is account sharing. Account sharing is a major infraction that results in a permanent ban. Your bfriend also partied up with your characters, macrobotting and having you benefit from his macrobotting. Associative rule-breaking results in a ban equivalent to the rule that was broken by the offending player. Macrobotting results in a permanent ban and by the associative rule-breaking infraction, that results in you also being permanently banned.
Well understood. But to clarify, 1. He did not party with my character's' , it was only one. 2. We did not share accounts if by definition of sharing the credentials with him. My laptop was left accessible overnight. However i do understand that the action of him resulting in my account being banned. But, to begin with, I am trying to appeal for the account that I have had for years which, has never been in a party with him and only ever appeared in the same map as him in the fm once or not twice to pass items. And also an account he has no access to. For your kind considerations.
Hello, It appears that we may have a different understanding of the Terms and Conditions, so I would like to clarify the points raised. Regardless of whether it involved one or multiple characters, being in a party with your boyfriend (who was banned for macro-botting) means that you were benefiting from the use of scripting. The situation also falls under account sharing. As stated in our T&C, this includes “using an account owned by another person, with or without permission.” Leaving your device accessible does not exempt this from being considered account sharing. Appeals cannot be made selectively for specific accounts or characters. On MapleRoyals, bans are applied to the player as a whole. As such, if a violation occurs, all associated accounts are subject to the same enforcement. Based on the above, the ban will remain in place.
I appreciate the clarification.. it’s interesting in light of my boyfriend still being guided to ask me to appeal. That said, the sarcastic and mocking responses he received were condescending, especially given that your team seem fully capable of addressing this in a more appropriate manner.
