I want to be upfront and honest: I used a method where I held down keys while away from the keyboard for a few hours. I understand this falls under unattended gameplay, and I completely acknowledge that this is against the rules. I knew better, and I take responsibility for that decision.

I’m not trying to justify breaking the rules, but I do want to give some context. I work long hours (roughly 10 hours per day) and take care of my kids outside of work, so I have very limited time to play. MapleRoyals has been a way for me to reconnect with something nostalgic that I really enjoy, but I’ve always struggled to get past the mid-level grind because of time constraints. I made a poor decision to try to push through just 4-5 levels from level 55-60 during a short window, just to experience content I’ve never been able to reach before.
Up until that mistake, I had spent a few hundred hours playing legitimately. I also voted consistently every day and was genuinely invested in the server and community. I also made some genuine friendships in-game, and with the ban, I have no way to reach those people or reconnect with them outside of MapleRoyals, which has been especially difficult.

I completely understand why the rule exists and why enforcement is strict. I’m not asking for special treatment, just asking if there’s any possibility of a second chance, even if that means a temporary ban, a rollback, or any other penalty. This will never happen again if my ban is lifted.
