Hi there. I recently started playing MapleRoyals a few days ago creating my character as a PERMA beginner. I saw someone using a thread as a way to document their progress so I'd like to do the same here! This is not a guide whatsoever so please do not be misguided by my choice of gameplay but I do welcome any tips an advice from any other fellow perma beginners. My number 1 rule is to not leech AT ALL, however, for situations like Zakum bosses whereby its impossible to clear as a beginner, assistance is fine. My goal is to level up through quests and farming mobs. PQs only if I'm absolutely bored. My goals for this challenge are as of follows: 1. Achieve Quest Specialist 2. Hit level 120 3. Achieve Quest Virtuoso 4. Hit 2000hp 5. Get a decent scrolled maroon mop Any other goals or achievements will be added as I go along and clear these main goals I guess. As of 19/04/2026: Level: 47 Quests Completed: 213 Max HP (with gear): 1007
I've mainly done quests, mob farming for scrolls and a little bit of PQs whenever I'm bored. Even when I did PQs, I only do it 2-3 times before moving on to questing again. So far, I've done 250+ quests, so it's a pretty fun journey!
