    Hello MapleRoyals Staff,

I would like to respectfully appeal my ban and ask if my case could be reviewed again.
First of all, I want to be honest and take responsibility for what happened. During that gameplay session, I did use a script/automated setup(not Marco), and I understand that this was against the rules. I am sorry for this mistake.
At that time, I wrongly thought that, since this was a level 200 account farming some ETC items in a very low-level map, it would not cause much harm or be treated as a serious issue. I now understand that this thinking was wrong, because using any script or automated setup still violates the rules regardless of the map or item value.
From what I remember, this happened around two months ago. At that time, I was playing the game while switching back and forth to watch a movie, so I was not paying full attention to the game. I understand that this does not excuse my behaviour, but I would like to explain the situation honestly.
Near the end, I remember seeing a player say something like “this is so obvious” in the chat. After that, I saw a white chat message saying, “Are you trying to ignore me?” At that moment, I did not immediately realise that the white chat message was from a Game Master. This was the first time a GM had ever spoken to me directly in game, so I was confused and panicked.
Instead of replying properly, I manually used a return scroll and went back to Japan / Mushroom Shrine. You may check my character’s movement or map logs as evidence. At the last moment, my character was no longer in the original training map, but had returned to Japan / Mushroom Shrine. I hope this can show that I was present and had manual control of the character at that time.
The reason I am only appealing now is that I still wanted to try and see if there is any possibility for reconsideration. Based on my understanding of the community rules, if this is considered a first-time robotic play offence, the punishment should usually be a temporary ban of around 14 days, rather than a permanent ban. For that reason, I respectfully feel that the punishment may have been too severe in my case.
I understand that using a script was wrong, and I will definitely take this as a serious lesson. I have removed the script/automated setup, and I promise that I will not use anything like this again.
I fully respect the staff’s final decision, and I only ask that my case be reviewed fairly according to the rules. Regardless of the outcome, I sincerely appreciate the time and effort that the staff and community team put into maintaining a fair and healthy game environment. I am also grateful for the time I was able to spend in the MapleRoyals community.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Unfortunately we cannot give a second chance for this offence. Scripting and macrobotting are the same thing.
