hi guys, OG GMS/EMS player but new to the server, currently playing a cleric but i also fancy playing a warrior class soon too (we can launch multiple windows right?), any recommendations please that is versatile and budget friendly in the long run? i had a hero back in the day, are they any good here?
Paladins are sought after for their crash skill. Pretty good damage as well I think. Dark knight is tougher to play as mechanically since they have to stay between 1-50% HP to deal maximum damage, but they are quite strong and have high damage resistance, and since they have HB as well you don't really need to wash them to reach max HP. Hero is okay. Not many people play as hero it feels like cause I guess they're pretty mid. Also they don't have crash like paladins.
Hi Stag, Welcome to the server! Yes you can play multiple windows. So I've played all 3 warrior classes. Being here for so long it was very interesting to see Pallys slowly over time become the dominant warrior class and of course I'd suggest Paladin. Hero can be a bit "clunky" in Von leon, thus difficult to survive, Hero's have the lowest single-target DPS of the classes so that isn't great. Not to mention Brandish the main 4th job attack can only hit up to 3 monsters so mobbing isn't ideal either. Hero's are the only warrior class without an AoE attack. Lots of SP gets wasted on dumb skills like final attack, rage, etc.. DrK's are awesome, great single target DPS(with zerk), great mobbing abilities, Hyper body, AoE, abundance of swag. Only downfall is zerk requires you to run with low HP making some end game bosses less efficient.. Pally's are the best. They are super fast attackers, not clunky at all. Elemental damage (fire, ice, lightning, holy) boosts DPS higher then most classes in general. Heavens Hammer makes Pallys arguably the BEST rose garden class. I could go on.. but i digress Side note: Ever think about playing Bucc?
@Shiratsuyu @trapboy I really appreciate your detailed insight guys, I will go have a think about what I want and read into more class guides to try understand more about the options. Unfortunately, I don't know enough to answer the question about playing a bucc, I'm guessing this is a good alternative to playing a warrior? A pally sounds like a viable option right now.
