The Corsair Guide Is Real (2026 guide by Enquiry)

This is something I was requested to add to the guide by someone else, so I'll probably do so in the future.

For me I leveled from 70-105 mainly through Pirate Party Quest, during the Christmas event (2x PQ exp). That's by far the fastest option, and you can work on getting a Pirate Hat.

There are quests at Leafre/Ludibrium around Lv. 70-80, although they can be challenging and the exp isn't super great.
I also went to Inner Ludibrum/Ulu City/Skeles and partied with friends to grind.

At Lv. 95 you can head to Temple of Time to start the quests there, and Ellin Forest around 100 (the grind is VERY HARD for an Outlaw at Ellin, but the quests give like 50% of a level).

 

You actually don't have to do this! Use the skill as a macro (even if the macro is only 1 skill) and you can hold the button down during the remounting animation, and it will execute the instant your ship comes out.

maybe there would be more lv150+ corsairs on this server if more people knew this

 

That's cool and I didn't know this! I will test this later. Does it give any lag to mounting/dismounting/movement?

 

I only do this with cannon, mainly. There's no lag, I think. You can still dismount during the macroed skill, and it doesn't add any delay to the remounting.

 

Just tested: holy crap this is actually amazing lol. I think the only thing I've noticed is the game sometimes fires another cannon even if you've already let go of the button (probably cause the game queues the macro during the end frames)? But otherwise this is great, I'll add it in the macro section as an option. Thank you!

 

Hello crew, I will be taking a break from Royals for a while.
As most of the community probably knows now, I've been chasing a Pirate Flag GM NX since January.
A pirate flag appeared in an event this week. As much as the community/GMs have been hyping it up, I didn't win, and the winner was not selling it.
I know it's kind of silly, but this has really affected my mood as it is one of my endgame items.
I need some time away so the thought doesn't eat away at my life. (I also need to handle IRL things)
I will likely become active again during anniversary. Hopefully that brings someone back with a flag.

Thank you everyone for the kind words and support. I have not expected this guide to impact as many people as it did.

Updated recently:

• Completed LHC section (Golem rotations and Rose Garden rundown). Gifs included.
• Added cannon macro courtesy of Baconfry (lets you mount + hold cannon to instafire).
• HP washing section should be complete outside of actual calculations (still hesitant on whether to add it as I spent 95% of my life doing HP quests).
• Further formatting/wording adjustments.

Honestly, this guide is pretty much complete at this point. I've listed almost everything I can think of that would be applicable for an average player.

Future final updates:

• Neo Tokyo questline bosses (surprisingly a lot of them aren't that hard outside of HP reqs)
• Leveling through hell levels: Lv.60-70 and Lv. 71-120 (requested by @caaiobolado , this will need me to remember what I did back then)
• Updates to the Useful Gear list (waiting for events to hit so I can comment on anniversary eqs)
• Auf/Von Leon (UNLIKELY: if I ever hit the HQ reqs, I will add some advice in)
• Some additional artwork for section banners, if I can find the time

 

My baby sair just reached Lv 120 today.

 

Conclusions about the Recoil Shot + Wings:

1. Must have at least 108% jump in order to rejump with no landing. (Didn't tested with 106%) But still, the greater jump number the better, once that it can make you avoid obstacles in the way and become faster.
2. Macroing Dash between the macro is useless.

You're the first person to get a congrats on Lv. 120 from me then! Congrats on 4th job!
Do stick through the first 15 levels as you're now in the smooth sailing part of Corsair. Once you can fight Krex/Zakum you'll love it.
The first 5 will be demoralizing but it's a great time to learn dismounting.
