When JMS is performed in the final stage of Ludi PQ, it significantly increases jumping efficiency—including for the person starting on box 1, who alternates positions later on. When Haste is active, the efficiency of JMS increases even more. I do LPQ a lot (I don't know why, I just really enjoy it), and I’ve noticed a general consensus of frustration regarding this stage. This frustration would be significantly alleviated if JMS were implemented; we would still be playing the stage fairly, just with much better synergy. On the rare occasions I run into other players who know JMS, I notice the average time to complete the stage is about half that of the normal KMS method. I try to encourage others to learn it, but it rarely works because everyone gets confused—which is understandable, since it’s difficult to explain without visuals. If the boxes just changed to the JMS layout shown in this picture, it would definitely make things a lot smoother for this stage of LPQ.
Really surpised no one wants this. This is really wild about how much of a contrast there is from old school GMS and Royals. It seems that everyone in Royals doesn't know about the efficiency of JMS; back in the GMS days of 2005 - 2009 at least, only JMS was performed in LPQ. It was more uncommon to find others that didn't know it. It's just strange to me, because I feel that the people that played GMS around that time would be playing Royals right now. I am guessing that others that play Royals have forgetten about JMS, and choose not to remember something if they feel like they don't need to... or they just never played LPQ in GMS.
I've been running LPQ a lot lately too and I feel like players do do JMS method, just with how the numbers are currently laid out, instead of going downwards. There could be some more efficiency squeezed out jumping down from 1 -> 2 -> 3 with haste if it was laid out this way but I feel like that is only a tiny amount of time since you'd only be saving the time from jumping sideways from 1 -> 2 currently.
