Not getting right damage range on my character

I was using a maple rohen (2 hand sword lvl 64) it was 10 str 98 w.att and recently switched to a maple one hand sword lvl 64 so I could use my atk maple shield with the sword, the one hand sword has 7 str and 94 w.att and the maple shield has 8 str 15 w.att that's total of 5 more str and 11 w.att than the two hand sword but my range is about 100 less using the 1 hand and shield compared with the two hand I'm not at home atm will post screenshots later when I'm home just wondering if this is wrong or right figured more str and w.att would be more damage range

 

There's a different damage formula for 2h and 1h.
