I appreciate the response, but it doesn't actually address the primary concern I raised in my appeal.

My argument was never that you should simply accept my explanation because other people have used it before. My point was that there was no clear or obvious requirement during registration directing new players to read the forum rules before playing. I created an account, verified my email, logged in, and started playing. At no point was I presented with server-specific rules stating that accepting valuable items from friends who quit could be interpreted as RWT or result in a permanent ban.

Instead of responding to that concern, the reply simply assumes that I am lying.

You also point out that FangBladess was created on May 24, 2026. Exactly—that was my very first character. If you have access to the logs showing my trades, then you also have access to my login history, IP history, and connection records. Those should confirm that this was genuinely my first time playing on the server. I'm not asking you to take my word for it when you have technical records that can either support or contradict what I'm saying.

You also state that I "somehow had friends" despite not having anyone on my buddy list. Respectfully, those are not the same thing. A person does not need to be on my buddy list to be someone I know. If someone is using a mule character or logging onto an alternate account before quitting, they would not necessarily appear as a buddy on my character. The absence of buddy list entries is not evidence that I purchased items.

You conclude that I am "trying to disguise myself as a legitimate player" and call me a cheater, but those are assumptions rather than explanations of the evidence. Receiving items alone does not prove that real-world money changed hands.

If the logs truly demonstrate RWT, then I would appreciate an explanation of what specifically indicates that money exchanged hands instead of simply concluding that it must have happened.

I also joined a guild, played normally, and never engaged in behavior that disrupted the community or harmed other players. My goal was simply to experience the nostalgia of MapleStory again after many years away.

Ultimately, my original point remains unanswered. Had the server clearly presented or required players to acknowledge these server-specific rules during account creation—rather than expecting new players to independently discover forum posts—this situation likely never would have happened. New players should not have to assume that critical gameplay policies exist outside of the registration process without being directed there.

I'm not asking for special treatment. I'm asking that my appeal be evaluated based on objective evidence rather than assumptions about my intentions, and that the concern I raised about the lack of clear notice to new players be addressed directly.
