Last thing you did: Probably called someone a and threw some other insults.
Why do you think you got banned?: Cause I didn't know we weren't allowed to be toxic or to blow off some steam in a game where the majority of the population in it are old as fuck, at least old enough to witthstand some 5 y/o's insults lol. Anyways I apologies, I'll make sure to read the rules once again and avoid using profane language against people.
Ban message when attempting to log in: "Your account has been blocked for using profane language"
What GM banned you (optional): idk

Yeah I have already, but can't we cut it short given that the server is in the midst of a lovely event? in a different time I wouldn't've bothered appealing and I'd have just accepted the punishment which I'm not denying its legitimacy, but there's also an event going on + this is my first fraction and it's only my 6th or 7th day in the server lol.
I think you could show some leniency, but it's upto you.

Can you explain your recent comments made in the Royals Discord?

It was before I read the rules, thus I wasn't quite sure what was wrong with what I said. I just said that I don't understand who bans for toxicity, which emphasizes that I haven't read the rules. I've seen people talk shit to other people and insult them nearly every time I logged in, so it was only convenient to understand that profane language isn't listed in the "no can do" rules.
As far as what I said there goes - I was slightly frustrated; am I to get slapped on the wrist for it?
On a diff note, I understand my wrongs and I apologize had I hurt anyone. Acknowledging my mistakes doesn't rely on the length of my ban, as I learn from my mistakes relatively quickly. I'd appreciate if the ban's lifted so I could give it one more go before I won't be able to play MS at all due to a job overseas. Cheers.

You will need to wait out your full 10 day ban. Actions have consequences, and you agreed to that ToS at least 3 times: once when you logged into Royals for the first time, and twice from completing Shanks' quiz so that you could graduate from maple island on your characters.

Missing out on the anniversary event is a consequence of your own actions.

Of the behaviour from you I have seen, the way you spoke in a GM event was particularly bad. If you genuinely believe that repeatedly making nasty remarks and calling people a "retard" is okay behaviour, then this is probably not the right community for you. Some of it was even directed at my colleague, who was trying to run an absolutely chaotic GM event with an eyewatering number of participants. If you did not like the way the event was being run, then the correct thing to do would have been to leave the event.

As for who bans for toxicity? All of us do, because we care about ensuring our game is a welcoming and enjoyable and safe environment for our amazing community. If this doesn't work for you, then please just go somewhere else.

Well, talking nastily to people was my fault and it's entirely your decision to keep me banned, however prolonging my ban on Discord from 1 day to 7 days even though I haven't said a single bad word to anyone DIRECTLY, literally exhibits a bad habit of making a black sheep out of people (especially new players) as an example for the community. And one more thing regarding the insults - you may have established a thought that you're keeping the people here under an umbrella that protects them from insults, but you and I both know that outside their monitor there's a whole world out there, where a couple of profanities are the LEAST of anyone's concern.
As far as the GM part - can't even remember what I said, but I understand a few things about the server now.
    Cheers.

Yeah, I know that too. It's depressing. However, we can't really change that because unfortunately people like you and I aren't the ones with the decision making power. I could talk about that all day, but I had better not!

That said, MapleRoyals is a place of escape for many of our players. This is why we expect players to treat one another with respect and kindness, and also why we have strict rules restricting political discussion, etc. Our community is global, and players have made friends with people from vastly different cultures to themselves. We can't control what happens in the real world, but we can help ensure our community at least is welcoming to all.

If like many of us, you're really struggling with the shit show that is the real world, then I urge you to treat this as a place of escape, rather than a place to let out your frustrations, when you return from your ban.
