Hi all, I'm sure many of you have noticed the new categories and prizes for this year's forum event. I'd like to address a few questions that some of you may have regarding the changes. Why were the prizes changed? The previous prize, Maple Leaf's Blessing, has been available from 2023 to 2025. I felt this would be a good opportunity to introduce some new prizes to keep the event fresh and exciting. Does this mean Maple Leaf's Blessing will never return? No. It may still return in future iterations of this event or other forum events. I simply wanted to introduce some new prizes to help build excitement and give participants something different to look forward to. It seems like there were more winners under the previous format? At first glance, yes. This is largely because previous events included the following note: "The Staff will have the discretion to select multiple winners." For example, in 2025, there were 26 entries and 14 winners. Winners were selected based on the higher-scoring submissions across the Solo, Group, and Creative categories. For this year's event, I'd still like to keep the total number of winners at around 10 or more. Under the new format, there will be: 3 Categories × 3 Prize Themes = 9 winners 1 Lucky Draw winner for a minimum of 10 winners. If multiple submissions receive the same score (which happens quite often), I also intend to award all tied entries rather than selecting only one winner. I understand that not everyone will agree with the new format, and that's perfectly fine. If you have any thoughts on the new categories, prize themes, or prizes, I'd be happy to hear them. Your feedback will help shape future forum events.
IGN(s): [PantherQueen] Theme + Category: [Achievements] - [Creative] Concept/Summary: Proudly sharing my first-ever jump quest completion! This is a cropped screenshot of my time for the 13th Anniversary jump quest. I completed it on my crossbowman, Freyariddhi, on July 2nd at 8:40pm est. I'll be honest, I had to look up a guide because I got completely lost and had no idea where I was supposed to go. But I stuck with it, kept trying, and eventually made it to the finish. I know this isn't an impressive time. It might even be one of the slowest times submitted. But I'm genuinely proud of it. I haven't been playing MapleRoyals for very long, and I never really played the original MapleStory. I only tried the modern version for about a week before deciding it wasn't for me, it felt overly complicated, and the rapid leveling wasn't something I enjoyed. This was my very first jump quest ever, and I completed it all in one night. My friend was on a prayer call while I was working through it, and I actually finished before he was done. Sure, he (and plenty of other players) can clear it in under five minutes and farm coins with ease, but that's not what matters to me. What matters is that I did it. I finished something I honestly didn't think I was capable of completing, and that's why this achievement means so much to me. Whether or not I win this contest, I'm happy to have had the chance to share this moment. =^.^= P.S. I hope I'm posting this in the right place. The rules said to post in this thread, so I believe I did it correctly. If I got anything wrong, please let me know!

IGN(s): Evan Memories + creative Nothing serious but this thread made me search thru my folder of memes and maplestory memories from GMS and Royals and this is a slightly edited one from Christmas time 2020. It was a fun jaunt down memory lane and boy did we make fun of Gert for being short holy shit. Spoiler: Saved this picture from 2018 for some reason ha
IGN(s): [DevOnIsland] Theme + Category: [Achievements] - [Creative] Ahhh for this forum contest, I think it's the perfect opportunity to show off my two Royals related tattoos. My first tattoo... a stylized version of the Doppelganger mascot. For a couple years there during COVID it felt like everyone who was playing back then recognized us. The Doppelganger guild was so vital to me, as they kept me sane throughout the isolation of COVID. We were on discord all together nearly every single day. I remember all of us getting 2nd place in what we called the Pie Wars I think in November of 2020, we all worked so hard just for a silly chair... monster sacking rival guilds when we could to send a message. Great times. The Doppelgangers are now some of my lifelong best friends, and we still hangout!. Unfortunately not many of us in Royals any more, but we often travel and meet up with each other when we can. It can be difficult as a lot of us are older now so not as much free time, but its always a great time when I do get to see them. For this specific tattoo, the Doppelgangers went to Bali, Indonesia all together! it was the first huge meet up and it was a great time seeing everyone's faces in real life, on one of the days I decided to get this tattoo. I asked one of my guild-members to also stylized it a bit just for a little uniqueness, and I absolutely loved how it turned out. To this day, when people see my tattoos they always get curious about the Christmas Tree with the eyeball, and I get to tell them all about Royals and the Doppelgangers As for my second tattoo, I've always wanted to get a dragon tattoo, but I felt like there was so many out there and I wanted to be more unique. So I had to contemplate real hard about what to get. And then thats when I thought of Royals of course. It was initially a toss up between Manon and Horntail but I just thought Manon was way cooler. I may get Horntail on my back some day. Anyways, I thought Manon was more appropriate as I am also a fire sign (Aries) so I thought it would match me better. I am also born in the year of the Dragon as well. But the tipping point would when I was getting to 4th job on my Dark Knight. Everyone knows you have to hunt Manon and Griffey for 4th job advancement. Well for some reason, when I found and killed the first manon, I decided to hunt all the manons that I could, and I think I killed around 8 of them on my own. Not realizing I would be delaying Horntail runs for a bit. I was on discord and my guildies were trying to Horntail runs later that day so I definitely wasted a lot of their time because they couldn't find a Manon. I confessed my crime to them and then my guildies were calling me the "Manon Killer". What can I say? It was my first character on Royals and I really didn't know any better haha. Good times. And now I have a piece of art on my body to tell that story and satisfy my dragon tattoo conditions. 1. Doppel Mascot Tattoo 2. Manon
Submission Format IGN(s): Vinilos Theme + Category: Memories + Creative Concept/Summary: - My favorite memories from this year: the people I met A little over a year ago, I returned to MapleRoyals after playing very for small gaps or not playing at all. Shortly after returning to the game, I met someone who was kind and invited me to his guild, a recently created, fresh, and friendly guild called Absolve. I joined without asking much and ran into an old buddy, PoppinBenzo, the guild owner. For months, I met very nice people while playing with whom I shared experiences, running content or simply chatting in FM. In Absolve I met even more people, and everyone contributed a bit to keep me playing even when I didn't feel like I had much to do in the game. There was always someone to help, listen to, or share with. Eventually, I was offered a Jr rank in the guild, so although I hesitated at first, I accepted the second time I was offered the role. It felt good to be useful and do more than just gather resources to get richer or whatever. As a Jr, I got to spend more time with the other Jrs also, I got to know them better, and I'm glad because they're great people: Irustia, Asoobs, AgentSi, CyberSoie, Itadori, and little Easei. I was able to meet people from other guilds, do activities with the Absolve members, and all of this gave me even more reasons to log into the game. It wasn't about accumulating mesos or getting upgrades on my gear/skills; logging into the game made sense because there were people who gave it like a meaning. Eventually, Shadmeme and Vitral joined the Jrs in Absolve and they were also great people with whom I shared many in-game adventures. Eventually, I started doing Von Leon, and when the guild started doing it too, everyone participated more. Using voice chat as a tool for strategizing became more of a tool for sharing and bonding. Laughs were everywere, terrible luck at scrolling, great drops, and the occasional blessed Chaos scroll +4 or +5—it all added to the experience. I've been playing since 2018 and last year I was able to hit 200, I had people that pushed me to grow and yeah, finally lvl 200 after delaying it so much for no real reason.. I created a 2nd account after not having much to do on bucc so I tho why not make a Corsair, which someone said to me that I was too poor to even wash one (thanks, manco Tony). But Corsair is the least AFK and most entertaining experience in the game, which also made me enthusiastic about playing and learning how to use it. In real life, I never had a crew or group to play various games online with or even chat with foreigners, but I felt welcomed by everyone, and I tried to make them feel like they belonged too. I was able to improve my conversation skills and English level, as well as my leadership abilities, and I also lifted the spirits of some who were feeling down and guided others who thought they couldn't do any better. I appreciate that during these 400+ days, or however long it's been since I returned, I've been able to enjoy myself, even though sometimes I spent a lot of time online, more than I'd like. Still it was time I cherished because everyone I shared it with gave their best. Thank you for giving so much, and I'm sorry for giving so little, mancos! And to complement this, I made a drawing with lots of people I met and appreciated their words and time, along my two main characters . Spoiler: The victims Wish I was able to remember more people but, here's what my head was able to gather hehe: Victor, Miloo, Celine, Luke, Joan, Nabin, Idan, Ben, Patrick, Ian, Judah, Julie, Aya, Mimmo, Renzo, David, Tal, Jess, Tony, Benji, Simon, Zohar, Jane, Maracucho, Andy, Sheerah, Nickola, Dakota, Luna, Yarin, Jon, Rik, Eddie, Andy#2 xd, Dave, Nin, Javier, Edwin, Leon, Martin, Samuel, Glenn, Mexi, Vincent, Pandan, Joe, Cas, Thaiboi, Minsi, Iyarin, Debbie, Chris, Bruce, Lisa, Neal, Justin and Chloe. pros <3 Disclaimer: No AI was used on any of this, handmade drawings + writing.

Even though we knew nothing about Bucc at that time, we stepped into the Nautilus captain's cabin and officially began our super transformation journey. Today, we've returned right back to where it all started— but it's time to say goodbye to the old days and begin a brand-new chapter. We are looking for "Rage" from Main Bucc players, keeping this super"HERO" legacy going! Fun fact: Male Bucc is taller than Female Bucc!
