So I've spent a little time on another PS and noticed they had @dpm, which told you your damage done within the last 60 seconds. Could this be implemented here? I think a lot of people would like this. Or maybe there was a reason it wasn't done
Not really. I'd like to know what's more benefitical; Strafe+Snipe or Piercing+Snipe during Zakum arms. It gonna be harder to test these kind of stuff without having a command like that. +1 for the idea, even I highly doubt we're getting it
should be pierce + snipe if you're able to hit 3 arms with it. If you're only able to hit 2, it should more or less tie and if you're only able to hit 1 it's strafe.
Why not. It wouldn't change the gameplay and would just be a neat feature for those who would like to track their damage output. Sure you can check your range and calculate it from there but there's other factors such as boss defense, weapon cancel, boss knockback and such which affects how much damage you actually do.
From a suggestion thread I made about implementing ~fm Matt commented you'd have to change the client to implement new commands like that. I think maybe after the new source they could consider it but it's probably not going to happen for a long time if it even ever happens
I'm into this idea. Maybe use that DPM number and put a space for it on the top right corner in that black box.
~bosshp doesnt work for e.g. bishops at skeles or Zakum Arms (they heal so it's faulty). They might want to know, too.
I too don't like the idea of having way too much player commands. It gives the heavy private server feeling (at least to me) which I tend to dislike. But there are ways to balance it up though, for example removing some of the unnecessary ones.
