less than an hour ago, right after i saw a notice for an event, i typed ~joinevent but maplestory crashed right after that and MapleStory localhost by jammerx2 popped up. i can access my other characters, except for the one i was logged in with... i tried character fixing and registering ip but to no avail T_T
We need to know at least the error message you get when clicking your character, and also the character name.
character name is Theif. and the only message i get is, maplestory localhost by jammerx2 has stopped working.
Oh sorry, I didn't realise your character name was Theif when you said it before. I can't see anything related to the character which would cause an error to occur. Does this happen when you click the character after logging in? Or does it happen when loading up the game? Also what operating system are you using?
It happens after clicking in the character (theif). Game closes after I choose my character and that message pops up. I use windows 7. I've tried reinstalling, restarting comp, character fix and register ip...
Do you have any other characters you can try? If not, try creating a new character and see if you get the same problem. Can you also try using some compatibility modes to see if that makes a difference.
Other characters in the account work fine. I will try doing that after I get home in a few hours. My friend thinks my character is stuck in a glitched map.
and nope... ive tried using other compatibilities and it doesnt work. every other character in the same account work so im guessing its a more specific error.
i think ~joinevent command is the thing thats bugging me right now. i tried joining an event on another character (same account) and the same thing happened IGN:Shibe
Must be a glitch on that map, it has nothing to do with the ~joinevent command. I have moved both characters to Henesys you should now be able to login.
