If not added to a gachapon, can the Spectrum Goggles be added in only CWKPQ? and nerfed for stats? or if there was someway to have it as an NX Eye Accessory (Donator/event)? I would love to see spectrum goggles introduced to the game, even merely as a cosmetic to celebrate the release of CWKPQ which in my opinion is the best pq for it's challenge and requirement to bring various classes to even participate.
I did some research on Basil Market after @Ace GriZ mentioned they were only available from Henesys Gachapon or CWKPQ(boss drop at a low rate) Originally it is exclusive to Henesys/NLC gach however If it was to be only added to henesys gach it would give Henesys more Gachapon use.. I feel it's been neglected other than for the Pink Adventurer cape so it would give it more popularity. But I have to say if it were added to royals(citing earlier thoughts regarding @Ace GriZ link above) it would be a great addition if merely as a cosmetic item without any of the regular stats it gives. If it gave only weapon defense it could be scrolled like a racc mask and not give an overwhelming advantage. Just something as an event item for when the new patch for the initial CWKPQ/Anniversary Event period, maybe? or possibly even limited to an item exchange NPC if you guys don't want them to be introduced regularly after New Source Is launched? Link from before GMS big bang: http://bbb.hidden-street.net/eq/eye-accessory/spectrum-goggles As for when they came out I can't find an exact date but from what Im reading it was upon Release of CWKPQ which I think was the v83 update. [edit] v66 was release of CWKPQ
Since it was a low rate to get from cwkpq it should be kept as a low rate tk encourage high lvl ppl to grind cwkpq.
CWKPQ was a two-times-a-day thing, IIRC. Grinding CWKPQ wouldn't necessarily be a thing, assuming you meant back to back pqs. EDIT: Also why I don't understand the discussion about potentially nerfing MoNs (my personal opinion) but that's for a completely different topic and/or probably no longer up for discussion.
Since mons r considered low lvld, lvl 155+ will be doing HT and not cwkpq so the low lvld guys r gonna have probelms doing cwkpqs boss stage. Theyr gonna need high lvl people whod want to do cwkpq to get something valuable to them like specs
the items serve as a good incentive, even without stats (at least that's my standpoint on it) as many of my characters are around horntail level, I have only gotten the chance to horntail once due to availability and planning of those runs. CWKPQ will encourage many to party up and participate for a fun experience with rad rewards and will literally be demanding more players (each class) to join them rather than how horntail is consistently filled with the regular high levels(most who provide servicing for HTP, books, etc) leaving those who reach that level who are more solo players, unable to participate, such as myself. I feel it will be a great addition to the community overall, regardless of the limit of entry per day and the rewards.
CWKPQ requires leader to complete a really long quest, different class, decent to good attackers but the MoN if nerfed is only going to help level 110-155 (or before if you decide to buy HTP services). Also, there is 4 MoN per run so even if they were not nerfed attackers would get geared in no time. Since the PQ requires many attackers selling MoN would give small splits so another reason not to do this PQ. My opinion is we should get Specs (or some other equips) affected by godly system so that everyone have a goal in this new piece of content. We make MoN level 170+ ?
If added as a GMS-drop, I think it would be better if they were one of a kind & untradable? That way people who want them would have to do CWKPQ? Rather than being able to buy them in a merchant?
+1 to this, the stats are irrelevent, at least to me. I just love the way they look. Also seeing people with specs is incredibly nostalgic for me. I think this is a great idea.
pretty sure it was an itcg item as well. But if inserted for purely cosmetic reasons, then +1 as well
I think this would be a great addition. Getting spectrum goggles will certainly help keep CWKPQ active for a long time (and of course untradable).
In gms getting specs for me was what I wanted before I quit the game.... I ended up quitting without them because whatever that update was that added farming/mining got added and I hated seeing the stuff literally everywhere... I also didnt know how to get them without buying them so
Im all for that, 100%! I had the same issue on GMS, I played during the transition to Big Bang after a longg break since the first year anniversary, around the release of DB class. I was planning on leveling so I could learn to CWKPQ and figure out how to get some but it was always "buy them for (amount of billions here)" really killed it for me
