Event MapleRoyals Promotional Video

    Okay so I would like to try and create a Promotional Video for MapleRoyals that I could embed into the main website homepage and on advertisement threads etc.

    I do not have my good computer at the moment so cannot record any footage myself and it's probably not good enough to run Sony Vegas Pro or anything decent like that.

    What I would like to happen is for there to be a few people recording footage of events, boss runs & grinding. I would want it to also include at some point a section of panned video recording of the website pages and forum.

    The music I would want to go alongside the video is Daft Punk - Digital Love which is 5 minutes long. I'd like to use this song not just due to me being a Daft Punk addict but because it includes the repeating lyrics "Why don't you play the game" near the end. Those lyrics could be paired with some sort of text effect with those lyrics on screen to give it more emphasis and then the name and url of MapleRoyals shortly afterwards, and then credits.

    Obviously if anyone has any better suggestions for a video, I am all ears. This is just one idea that popped into my head.

    Those willing to help compile the video will receive quite a bit of NX as thanks.

    I would suggest making contest out of this :) That would bring more videos and more attention to the server imo...i will be making some promo video soon or later for sure after i make some decent level to get good fotage :D

    i could probably make one, but it would take me quiet a while, since it being exam period/summer vacation, is there a deadline of some sort?

    There isn't really a deadline, it will probably take a long time, to make a decent one anyway.

    I think a reference in the video to the forums wouldn't be a bad idea. I think the use of forums is fairly underrated.
    It's a great way to gain more members on here, which will increase the general activity of the game/forums. By doing this the game/community could easily be improved. Increased activity on the forums will help new players and the reporting of bugs/problems.

    I think a fair amount of the the European players here were/are also serious users of the demethos.eu forums.I have to say that this has added on to my demethos experience greatly and I've met new people this way which i normally wouldn't have ever met.

    I think we need people to do Zakum runs etc. to show that we're actually active. I'd be happy to work on this especially on the editing side. I think just a montage of stuff going on, events, boss runs etc would be a good promo.
