Can't get onto character

I am able to get into the character choosing part, but when I try to get on my character, my screen stops for a moment and after that i get returned to log in section with this message: "unable to log onto the game server."

I tried both character fixes and they didn't work. Server status shows 'Online' so I don't think that the server is offline.

 

look at the chatbox on the forums, matt is attempting to fix the problem (is aware)

 

Just noticed that after making this thread. This can be closed (or deleted) by someone already.
