Hi! I was just wondering about the nx system..if its possible to somehow earn it in game. I have two younger cousins (preteens) that want to play. Their internet is greatly protected and the voting system may not be allowed for them. Not only that, since they're young they won't want to click and type daily. Personally I tried farming from mano but he only respawns so much..not to mention all the competition. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to have selective mobs drop a very limited amount of nx? I wasn't here before the wipe but I was friends with the gms from Rydah and I know how crazy it can get. I just think nx could be efficiently monitored in game in a low rate server. I really want my cousins to experience old school ms! Thanks for the consideration!
You can get nx from bosses. Nx items/Nx are also avaliable from events We had NX dropping from mobs prior to a wipe (we were wiped from 10x to 4x) and it was not a good idea. Voting is currently the primary source of NX, alas!
What better lesson than to teach youngsters how to share (vote every other day, or one does gtop100 and the other UPS) and that you're rewarded for a little effort (typing your account name and clicking a few buttons = BAM 4k nx). Just warn them that abusing it will get one account permbanned and the other temp banned.
