Hi i think Smuggling Should be Aloud In Ludi Maze Pq because sometimes in a party u glitch out of the pq and u have the 200 tickets in total as a party so why woudnt you be able to get that exp that u deserve btw do you no how many times i got kicked out like 10 times atleast all the work gone down the drain and sometimes this game just dcs you so it should only be fair if u dont ban people for smuggling and sometimes people in partys forget to drop their tickets like me so why cant we get our exp my main point is that we should be able to smuggle because we should get what we deserve without getting banned like really never knew getting the exp that u deserve was a crime ...
http://royals.ms/forum/threads/matters-regarding-to-smuggling-passes.36717/ Also, I don't see why this should become legal. Once the new source comes out chances are that the frequent disconnection issues and the issues where you get kicked out randomly are a thing of the past. Smuggling is abusing a glitch and glitch abuse is simply not allowed .
Well my main argument for it is that there were a lot of parties back in the day that would smuggle OPQ pieces and LPQ tickets in order to rush for more efficient EXP. In addition, people would smuggle Ariant bombs for shits n giggles. To a certain extent, I do consider smuggling a nostalgic part of maple. Since we don't have the intense KPQ parties selling off trackers, its one of the things we have left that can add a just a bit more to what the old PQs were as well.
Did you work for that exp though? People can just sell lmpq tickets on their store in fm if it were to be legal. Can you see my concerns around that matter? You could literally buy your exp for a pq :\ what fun is there in that?
OK, but blatantly allowing smuggling means that you are able to rush PQ on a level 70, sell massive amounts of tickets to other players, and make a profit while giving them your EXP. Which is VERY far from what was originally intended, and makes it very clear how this becomes Glitch Abuse. EDIT: Demi beat me to the post by half a second >.>
@lilaznpnk @Demiosu I'm okay with the view that this is a question about a principle that this is a glitch (even though it's a glitch that makes you do this - timer glitch) But you just described "giving your EXP for money" and that this is not intended. If that would be a sound reason every seller/buyer of leech would also has to be punished.
Well, no. Leech is a system that is fully implemented and meant to be a part of Maplestory. The tickets on the other hand were meant to be turned in by the party which entered the PQ and the exp is meant to be for them. Although thinking about it, this is the basis of all PQ smuggling glitches, so I'm kind of talking myself in circles here. The point I'm trying to make here is that I would like to see some form of smuggling to be legal, as to me, it is a nostalgic factor of Maple. The problem is just there are very good reasons that the GMs have against this that I fully understand as well. So while we might not be able to help most smuggling, maybe we can prevent harmless smuggling such as Ariant bombs from being bannable in the future?
As said before, I think this is a question of principles. But what I also see is that the GMs got quite some work with threads around this issue. And I'm sure a lot of the smugglers (including me) were surprised that this gets you banned. So wouldn't it be a good idea to make the PQ NPCs yell a warning out or give them a text when you click on them? Maybe some would still do it, but a lot will see that warning and know "Oh, this is not allowed here, alright then better not risk it". Shouldn't be too complicated and decrease the number of threads around this issue. And as a side note, I don't think the Party EXP System was implemented so you pay someone to level you up while you're afk.
Smuggling is glitch abuse and will be treated as such according to the punishment listed in the Terms & Conditions.
