One thing that I have noticed in most private servers, and even now in gms is that any quest that does not give a really nice reward (e.g gfa scrolls) is just kind of ignored. I feel like if people were given some sort of incentive to do these quests, that it would just add another layer to the server. I'm not really sure how this can be done, but I do have one idea. If possible, maybe implement a new system (sort of like the maple leafs/trophies systems in other servers for mob drops) to the quests. Completing a quest would give you like 1+ points/leaf depending on the level or difficulty of the quest (to deter people from making new low lvl characters just to spam their easier quests, and to deter repeatable quest abuse). These points can then be traded in for something special. Like chairs, or mounts/mount covers, etc. Whatever is felt like a good reward.

Changing the quest rewards requires .wz editing, so all players would need to have a modified quest.wz file in their mapleroyals folders. To counter this I would rather make custom npc's and custom quests. I also think changing the quest rewards would confuse people. Especially if like they are doing that quest for the certain reward... and then it is something different.

Same kinda goes for the trophy/award system. Would require wz editing also.

Yea I guess creating custom files is probably much more of a hassle on everyone You for making them and everyone else for needing to download them.

Oh and I actually meant just adding that to the quests not removing the other parts of them xD. Sorry for the lack of clarity.
