BM VS MM

What job is better farming/ bossing and fun, Markmans or Bowmaster?

 

They're both close enough that it doesn't matter. People will only want you for se on either class.

 

Imo, Marksmen would go a longer way when it comes to funding since their scrolls for xbows are dirt cheap compared to the bow counterpart but in every other aspect nearly identical.

 

Bossing: Bowmasters
Farming: Pretty even
Fun: Subjective, but in my opinion, Marksman

 

If we go with v86 changes Marksmen are better mobbers(best ranged weapon class for mobbing IMO) and outdamage/even with other ranged DPS classes thanks to new Snipe cool-down for a bit, but fall off a tad the farther other ranged classes go and get funded.

 

With new source marksman are gonna be incredible mobbers (1sec PA with no cancel) and better bossers with 2x more snipe dmg.

 

Mm pros:
have a wicked mobbing skill, namely piercing arrow
Get to see yourself hitting damage cap every 10 seconds now, 5 seconds in the new source

Cons:
Need a lot of levels to add all the useful skills, not necessarily a bad thing, it just opens up more methods of training coming to late game.
One part of their damage does not scale, snipe does a static amount (still does a lot of damage though)

After playing a marksman for quite awhile, I'd highly recommend it, due to their ability to farm and boss
