Hey! I'm currently having my old laptop filled with the devious DNSUnloader program/infection/whatever you want to call it. I've "uninstalled" it from the list of programs, but I keep recieving the ads presented by DNS unloader. The laptop is a Samsung one, with windows 8. I'm clueless about how to go about removing it completely from my laptop. PS: In case you're a scrub like me, DNSUnloader is not something you should download lol in case you might be like "oh what's that" and download it :/ very bad sutff!
I've never even heard of DNSUnloader and Googling for it shows nothing. Are you sure that's what it's called?
DNSunloader is the name I found, but it's a thing that can be sneaked into files when you download that fills your screen with ads and links to ads everywhere. Anf no, i've not tried Iobit or Malwarebytes @Moose
I'd download and try Malwarebytes first and Iobit second. They'll find and be able to remove any spyware, adware, and malware fromnthe computer and registry. They're also freely available.

Search for DNSunloader on your computer and delete everything named like that. And also use Malwarebytes. There are other programs too but that is the most common one. I've had those kind of infections many many times and it's so hard to get rid of them completely oh and also check your browser extensions and what ever settings so that there isn't anything there. Good Luck!
Just ran a search with Malwarebytes and found some files, but I still have the issue. By the way it's named DNSUnlocker, not Unloader. lol
Go to settings and make sure you scan for rootkits as well. If that still doesn't work install Revo Uninstaller and try to uninstall it with that, using the most comprehensive file search and deleting everything.
http://malwaretips.com/blogs/ads-by-dns-unlocker-removal/ I'm pretty sure this will help you out. I've seen people with similar problems and they have been saying this gave positive results. I, too, have a virus on my computer that cannot be deleted unless I reinstall Windows 7. So far it's shown no threats, like a trojan. Trollol
Chances are if you have one infection, you have a lot of other more hidden ones. Make sure you don't use the computer for anything important, ie online banking, paypal, etc. until it gets a fresh install. Antivirus suites will only identify the most primitive or widespread malware.
If anyone has viruses they can't remove in Windows, I'm experienced with these cases and can create a batch script for removal if you create a log of your start up items for me to review. (Severe cases may require startup disk logs, and Process Tree dumps.) To create a start-up log, this program hosted by microsoft is great: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx Please private message me if you need me. I will check up at least twice a month.
I have been struggling with this one today. Seemed to made some headway once I checked the DNS settings ( 199.203.***.145) & (82.163.***.167) and change them to automatic. Machine then started to respond and looks like it is now clean. I followed the guide in this post to change my DNS to automatic and it did the trick. I was not sure about those anti-malware programs recommended so I didn't download them. So those who have the same problem can have a look at the DNS settings. They may be changed by the malware. The steps below show how to repair it manually. (Take Windows 7 for example) Click Start button, go to Control Panel and click the View network status and tasks link under Network and Internet category. (Note: The control panel screen is under View by: Category) Then click on Local Area Connection. In the pop-up Local Area Connection 2 Status window, you click on Properties button. Click on Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) then click Properties button. Select the Obtain DNS server address automatically option and click on OK button.
