In Report Abuse, i have put up the SS for all to see. Conversation's pretty much transparent. At that level of conversation, i do not understand how am I THE ONE HARASSING HIM? Or considering since both were banned with equal duration, HOW IS IT THAT I'M DOING THE SAME THING AS HE IS? ********** May i request that the entire chatlog be reviewed? Because the SS was halfway and it seems and looks like I STARTED IT. *******

1. He's clearly egging me on, and I have (thankfully, smartly) avoided all possibilities of verbal insults directed at him. Inclusively, he already knows who I am and still comes back with more racial abuses? Marce also knows who I am, and he still MESSENGER'ED me prior to the Public Chat, knowingly trying to piss me off? Have i not been calm enough? Did i even show aggression?

2. Even if we look at it from a harassment POV, is this not harassment from him that led to my annoyance? In fact, in the chat logs, was I not calm enough? I was talking to a friend Asuramaru, and he continued to pester around. BUT IM HARASSING?!!?! I feel this is just biased doing, because I have been very sarcastic with John's approach to the previous racist remark, WHICH I ALSO HAVE AN SS OF.

3.For the benefit of comparison, I am going to put up posts here of similar situations where your team has only banned the cause of the harassment.

Cyndy's post in Cutexiaobear's harassment report: "Part of the definition of harassment is pestering and unrelenting." This was cyndy's own partial definition, to which I assume she used to differenciate who was right or wrong in the harassment report. FOR MY CASE: I did not pester, i replied. I was not unrelenting, when in fact, every sentence was a retort of annoyance. And no vulgarities either?

I am only seeking a constance here. If you're going to ban me for harassment, I would like to ask for your definition of Harassment, And at the same time, ask why are all these cases any different from mine, that only mine got a double-ban?

I think i've the right to ask for this as I've put in alot of effort into this game for the past 6-7months. Likewise, GMs have also had alot to do so im not comparing whats been sacrificed here. BUT. I've always followed the rules. And if i am to be banned, it has to be of a constant policy and not an inconsistent policy.

P.S. I only backdated to Report Abuse posts till August. If you want more, i'll go all the way to January and analyse all of them for you.
This entire ban appeal has also not gone into the content that Marce mentioned in my post. Which were impulsive and racist. BUT HEY, thats for the Report Abuse thread, which i have left there as a report. I am very sure I am not the aggressor nor the harasser here. Just read the SS sentence for sentence.

*In the real world, an appeal does not have to be one that shows just remorse and fake tears, I believe that if i've got a case to appeal for, then I present my evidence, arguments, and point of view. Now you can judge me again. PHEW k that was a long post. If this is not effort, then i dont know what is.

 

It is quite clear you have a thing out for each other, it is not strange that you both got banned for it, I know at least one other
case that both players were banned for not letting things go.
You are wasting staff time by insulting players then reporting them when they insult you back.

 

And you did not read the chat log. What do you mean by

I did not start this. PLEASE READ THE CHATLOG INSTEAD OF THE SS. The SS is barely just what i managed to SS in time after the entire conversation, and its missing the front which importantly shows how he's pissing me off, and how im talking to Asura.
I'm wasting time? Then take down the rule of banning racist remarks, i'll stop reporting those then. I'm reporting harassment. I report when I FEEL HARASSED.

I can take a hit man. Whats an insult? Nothing much. But when it comes to law? You can pick a fight outside. The one who throws the first punch will be charged for assault. And the victim? Self-defense. Even if the verdict is not self-defense, there is pre-notions to the actions of the aggressor as a result of the outcome. Yay jail the guy who called the police (the enforcers) instead of taking matters into his own hands. I could stab the guy......... Yea thats a better outcome. Not.

P.S. I don't think i was banned for 'not letting it go'? Everyone who comes to report on the forums has not let it go, thats why they came to the forums to report it. I hope this analogy is easy enough to understand. @Andreas

Edit: If you're going to set rules in place, open your forums to allow the community to enforce it, and also include mediums in the forums to report them, then am i not following protocol here? Or was following protocol a waste of time? Seriously? I just typed an entire essay for a ban appeal which i feel wronged for. How am i wasting your time only? I've to wait 3 days now and also spent alot of time typing all these out. DUDE? I would love for a peaceloving community and that id just continue the rest of my life in royals without drama and conflicts, but its not always a bed of roses.You've 11400+ messages here. And this is my first time here. I am not a repeat offender nor did i give you a lack of effort appeal for you to waste your time on.

 

Based on the evidence you presented, the GMs felt that you were equally guilty of harassing the person you were reporting. Personally? It seems you had it out for each other and this is not the first (or second) time you two have had run-ins with each other. When your ban is over, just stay away from each other.

 

Equally guilty??! WHICH PART OF THE SS SAYS IM OUT TO HARASS AND ALL EAGER TO PESTER AND KEEP A CONVERSATION GOING WITH HIM? When i can perfectly live without his presence. And carry on chilling in the fm. In fact, since uve the chatlogs please scroll up more to capture the parts of him coming in and aggravating me calling me a Nerd and all, before all these started? ALL FROM OUT OF NOWHERE? This SS does me no good service besides the fact that ive captured him using racial slur. Asuramaru can ATTEST that he came over, called me a damn nerd and started the argument, forcing me to point out to Asura who this person slurring me was.
You read it, and assessed it. Now i'm giving you even more information to make a more accurate assessment so please do read it. I can only do so much to tell you what happened.

Dude. If you walk beside someone who was convicted of drug trafficking and murder yadah yadah, do you look at him like you do not have it out for each other, when u already know the other person's character? You're still not looking at it from a victimised point of view. The aggressor has clearly stated that he's all out for wanting to get banned. And all i did was be sarcastic about it. But IM HARASSING? Has any of my points not come out from something he tried to annoy me with or about?

 

At least give me a counter argument instead of just saying ... Based on the evidence....... (Did you even read the chatlog, or just the SS i posted?) I typed an essay here with many valid reasons. You're not even pointing out what exactly is wrong with my SS/chatlog besides saying its harassment. But you're not looking at who is standing on which side (aggressor or receiver). And where its all coming from.

 

You report him and the first thing that shows is you insulting this person and as already said that wasn't
the first time.

 

Ok TLDR:
1. Read the in-game chatlog instead of the SS to see who started the fight.

2. I've been pointed out that calling him a 'lil prick' is a significant reason. Lil prick was when i was talking to Asuramaru. John himself stated in previous posts that you cant be banned for that unless its directed at the person. But im talking to a friend. I can say that john is ugly (per se) to a friend and that shouldnt be a ban either. He's pointed it out directly. I'll quote the threads if you want me to.
And i said lil prick only after he called me a nerd. So isnt lil prick a justifiable term? Like a thorn in my flesh?

3. Harassment. I didnt use vulgarities, i didnt use racial slur, i didnt start the fight. I was with a friend. I wanted him gone, but obviously was too chatty to just say "Shut up and leave". He had a history of racist remarks. I had a history of .. Giving him a snide comment that he was going to get banned for saying n*gga? My friends in the community can also attest that I do not harass people personally. Harass would equivocate to pestering people and annoying them.

BUT WHY DOES THIS SS SEEM MORE LIKE HE'S HAVING A KICK OUT OF PISSING ME OFF?
