I am probably one of many that enjoy seeing the snowman event, seeing as the last time I did was during the early stages of Europe MapleStory. However, it is no longer what I had expected due to the following: Frequency Rewards Accessibility People tend to save up a TON of snow to later spend it all in one go, resulting in maybe 5-6 snowman spawns under an hour. As far as I remember, I had only seen the snowman three times during my time in EMS. As for the rewards, it seems like getting the top prizes (white/chaos scrolls, 25k NX etc) is relatively easy. I see at least 5-6 scrolls in total after every snowman and something like 50k-100k NX. These prizes have to become rarer or their value will drop immensely. And my number one problem is the accessibility. There's a level requirement for using gachapon tickets (50), which is probably the biggest source of income on this server. The amount of people at the snowman is ridiculous though. IIRC the snowman drops 50 presents, and I've seen up to a hundred in the map. Starters who haven't even played an hour can become richer than a regular in a matter of minutes. All in all, I like the event, but I'd like to see some serious changes. Just my two cents (and others hue)!
I have to agree, this event seems to be directing the server to pre-wipe. With large amounts of NX, Chaos and White scrolls are becoming quite common. Today I logged on and apparently the players exploded 5 snow blowers in a row, I saw about 15-20 notifications regarding chaos scrolls. The prices of Chaos scrolls have already fallen around 50m. I think the event should have some major balancing ESPECIALLY since its planning to last till Feb. Chaos is now around 6x easier to get than 1 month ago. I've seen a level 30 who just joined the server earn around 300m in a few minutes from this event. Long story short, decrease the rate of Chaos/White/NX by quite a bit and add more dummies/low tier rewards.
I agree, it makes it more easier for beginners (new players who join the server) just make the rewards more rare or something.
I totally agree, too bad I didn't get any good stuff... But my gacha is failing, too, my luck is failing me. :c But from what I've seen today with the 5 snowmans, I think it should be rebalanced.
