Cannot connect to server

I am able to open application and log in. However, once I select a character, I get sent to the log in screen and it ways that I am not able to connect to the game server. Can anyone help with this?

 

It still does not work. I read the guide first by the way, it has been very helpful in the past. I'm wondering if my connection issues are because I am trying to connect over a moble hotspot device?

 

I'm having the exact same problem, game launches perfectly fine and I can log in but once I select a character, it instantly sends me back to the login and tells me it cant connect to the server, then I usually have to go to the website to fix my account, because it says its still logged in

I read the error code thing, but its not an error code, the error message is given to me at the maple login screen after clicking a character

also I think potentially something might be up with my account all together because everytime I attempt to vote for the first time it says I have to wait over 1000 minutes, when I've easily waited more than 24 hours.

So if anyone finds out anything about this unable to connect from the character select thing, please let me know D:

Nah I only have 3 characters, and of I click any of them, same problem, I posted the comment from a friends wireless network, so idk if that has any affect or not, but my account name is "dmbrawr"

 

The IP you posted from and the current IP registered to the account is not the same. Use the Register IP button on the homepage and then try connecting to the game

 

Yeah that fixed the problem, I didn't know you couldn't log on from any other ip's than your own without registering it, but yeah thanks a lot :]]
