I just wanted to know what gears I should have by end game for my Warrior. Suppose I wanted to use a Stonetooth sword which requires DEX. 1. Out of a full set of gear, what should be scrolled with DEX and what should be scrolled with STR? (What stat should my Zhelm be oriented to?) 2. How much base DEX should I have if I plan on using an endgame requiring DEX such as Stonetooth. 3. Would it be possible for me to use a 1H sword and Shield by endgame, or would that be a sin?
You want as much scrolled for dex as possible. Scroll everything you can for dex. There are no helmet strength scrolls, so dex on your Zhelm is the way to go. Its tricky, but if you are dedicated you can go completely dexless and still use a Stonetooth. If you don't have enough dex from equips by 100, its not a huge deal, but just make sure you keep your dex as low as possible, because you will end up AP reseting all of your dex out as you approach 120 dex from equips, and at 9-10m each, that is almost as expensive as high dex equips. You can use a 1H sword and Shield. You can switch between the 2H sword and 1H sword and shield freely, since sword mastery covers them all. There is a huge amount of misunderstanding about a lot of things Maplestory calculation wise, all spread by other equally confused people. There is a huge debate over 1H sword + shield vs 2H sword. I'm sure someone will disagree with me, but based on the damage multipliers, 2H swords have the most potential. With infinite funding, 2H swords will do more DPS vs 1H swords with shields. That said, pick which you like best, and whats works best for you at whatever point you are in the game.
