Solved [Solution Given] Won't Run with El Captain

Hey guys,

I recently downloaded the new Mac OS El Captain, and this has stopped Mapleroyals from working. In particular, every time I try to open Mapleroyals, I get an error message that says "The application X11 could not be opened. An error occurred while starting the X11 server: "Failed to activate core devices.""
Do any if you have this problem and have solved it before?

 

El Capitan comes with a new "rootless" setting that you'll have to disable in order to use Wineskin.

1. You have to boot up in recovery mode (hold down command-R while the computer is starting up).
2. Once that's up, click Utilities-> Terminal in the top menu bar.
3. In the terminal window that pops up, type "csrutil disable" (no quotes) and hit enter.
4. Restart your computer normally. You should now be able to play on your Mac client.

Hi, this may be a dumb question, how do you enable rootless after

 

Same steps, but use csrutil enable instead of csrutil disable.
