Weird because this literally happened from one day to another.

I know this seems odd, but have you checked your Harddrive space? You almost only get that due to a full harddrive

Can't say I am familiar with this especially seeing there are several having this problem.
I guess a basic suggestion would be to uninstall the game in the control panel delete the folder and then re install.

Maybe close your antivirus software and try again.

I'm having the same problem, 650 GB free on my hard drive. This started happening out of nowhere basically as I was playing last night but couldn't log on in the morning.

GMs should analyze this situation, a lot of friends and guildies have the same problem.

Reinstalling, closing the antivirus, opening as administrator.. Nothing works.

Guys, after several tries, i managed to enter maple in two steps:

    1. Deleting my antivirus
    2. Running mapleroyals in Razer Game Booster

Really weird but im just sharing it.
    Game Booster FTW? Kappa.

Firstly, is this when installing the game? Or opening the game?...

It happens when you try to open the game.

Then it seems like something is blocking the client from being unpacked. Could either be lack of write permissions in the MapleRoyals folder for the Windows user account, or antivirus isn't allowing the unpacked client to be written to disk. (most likely antivirus related)

Same here, should find out if all the people having the problem are using avast, then we know what's causing it.
