Hi, I started playing MapleRoyals these days, at first I thought I was doing great until now. I am level 30, but I can't finish the 2nd job test. I am a magician. I went to the second instructor to do the test, he told me to collect marbles, but when I finished killing all the monsters, there were no marbles to collect. I was stuck there with no marbles to hand in. Another problem is I played a quest that has to kill 99 horny mushrooms, I killed at least over 20, but the screen still flashed 0/99. I did the magician's last training session, and I also couldn't hand in the monsters I killed. Also, after I forfeit quests, they are still stuck in the In Progress quest box. I downloaded and set up the game 3 times and also downloaded the new client. Gamemakers please help me solve this problem. Thank you!
There is a famous quest glitch that randomly hits you whenever you have active quests waiting to be completed. Sometimes it's specific quests that activates this, sometimes it happens in the middle of grinding. When you have the quest glitch, you will most often not get any drop from monsters and kill counters won't apply to quests that require those. It also prevents monsters from respawning in the map, so most likely you had this quest glitch active while trying to collect marbles during your job advancement. You aren't supposed to just kill all monsters in the map, they are supposed to drop marbles when getting killed, because they respawn. It's like a 10-20% drop chance maybe so you would need to spend a few minutes there to complete it. Most of the time (like right now for example) there is a Yellow Scrolly Text on top of the client window that informs players of the most current error. Sometimes it informs us to download a new client to stop disconnecting in the Free Market, but most of the time it explains about this quest glitch. Now, to get rid of it, you forfeit all active quests, leave any parties you are part of and relog your character. Then you could go to a random map and kill a monster and see if it drops items. If the quest bug persists, you can report it on the forums. I hope this helps!
I forfeited all the quests, but 4 of the ones I forfeited before are still in the "In progress" box. I relogged, and they were still there. After I went to do the job advancement, when I went in..there were no monsters at all...
