I have less than 3B myself; in fact, on any of my chars, the most I've ever held at once was 500m. I've never had a mage past level 71. I do all my farming on my attacking chars. While none of my items are godly by any means, I've made some decent equips and had my fair share of failures, too. (For example, my crossbow took only one explosion to make. My gun and overall so far I've blown up 9-10 each.) The people that don't want to put in the time or effort to make good equips should not have good equips. People like maggles, myself, Prideful and Zoink put a lot of time into this game, and we've got good items as a result of it. This is a low-rate Maplestory server. If you wanted good stuff easily, you should be playing Rydah.

Mmmkay can I just say that nobody is going crazy in this thread... You are the one calling people drama queens when they are contributing to your request for feedback You do not need 3 billion mesos to buy a scroll. Very very few people have that much meso. If you are worried about your item blowing up you should probably use 10% scrolls... At least I think that is what most people do. As most people have agreed it shouldn't be easy to scroll perfect equips. We went down a similar road a while ago which lead to a wipe since a lot of people had perfect items and not only just their weapon. A lot of people quit because they got bored of the game quickly. How long do you want to enjoy MapleRoyals for? But yeah, it looks like your idea got shot down. Although you didn't explain in the opening post that the item wouldn't cost NX and any other additional details that could have lead to less confusion and possibly a better outcome.
, This. Protect Wards weren't added until way after Big Bang iirc. Scrolling is supposed to be hard and about luck, that's how it was back in the day, its what makes godly items godly.
