Hi I am extremely new to this HP washing and I hear it is essential for most classes in the game except for all magicians and hero. I understand why magicians don't require HP washing but why don't heros require it? And if they do need it, what level should they start washing at? I have made a warrior (level 27 so far), going on to be a fighter soon for the simple fact that it doesn't really need HP Washing. I just want to know why it doesn't. Thanks :D

Heroes don't absolutely need it because Power Guard soaks up a lot of touch damage. While it's nice to have, you will be fine if you don't ever wash on a Hero.

If you want to wash, start equipping Ont gear before leveling up as soon as possible.

I honestly don't want to HP wash as I don't have the money or the equipment yet. So as a fighter it's 100% fine if I don't do it? Can I survive all our majority of boss attacks? And if I did want to HP wash is it too late to equip int gear at my current level ?

Thank you! And what level (if they choose to) are heros recommended to start washing?

Sorry for asking so many questions but would a hero also need to add base int to wash or is just equips fine?

Depends on your goal and your Int equips.

and i read somewhere you need +10 INT gear for each +1MP each levelup.
    example:
    - at 99.9% (or so) we put a +17INT gear
    - when levelup, you will gain +1MP
    - now, you have 5 AP to spend
    - 1AP into +HP
    -4AP into your stats (STR/DEX)
    -using AP Reset on MP
    -put 1AP into stats(STR/DEX)

    is that right?
if you have +20INT gear, you can do it 2 times, as +20INT gear gives you +2MP

    • Step 1: Calculate your minimum MP
Let’s assume that you are a Level 200 Thief with 4000 MP
Use 1 of the formula below to calculate minimum MP that you can channel to HP:
      Min MP Formula for Sperman class = 4 X level + 156
Min MP Formula for Fighter class = 4 x level +56
      Min MP Formula for Bow/Crossbow job = level x 14 + 148
      Min MP Formula for before 2nd job Thieves = level x 14 – 4
      Min MP Formula for after 2nd job Thieves = level x 14 + 148
      The thief minimum MP that he can’t remove is (200 x 14 + 148) = 2948
So, this thief could place at least (4000 MP – 2948 MP = 1052 MP) into his/her HP!
    .

    • Step 2: Using AP Reset Cards (NX Cash)
      1. Put 1 AP into HP (1 at a time, not all 5 into HP)
      2. Use AP Reset to reduce 1 point from MP.
      3. Add that 1 point into your primary attribute. (example: If you are a Thief, add to LUK)
      4. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 until all your AP have been used.

what i mean is that "each level up" with +6 INT gear (including +4 INT base) = 10 INT will grant you 1 wash. knowing that you dont need to calculate anything right?
    so, if i put a +6INT gear at level10. at level20 i have 10 wash that i can do.

but lets say you are level163 and you don't have a clue about the INT (as you also have base INT), then its good to know the formula to calculate the minimum MP.
if im gonna do a character that i will HP wash, then i will follow it all the time and i will start very early levels to "save" money.

oh sorry i forgot to add something:
BONUS amount of MP needed to wash 1 time
when you have 10int in total when u level up = 1 MP bonus
Warriors need 40int in total per level to get 4 mp bonus to wash 1 time.
Thiefs need 120int in total per level to get 12 mp bonus to wash 1 time.
Archers need 120int in total per level to get 12 mp bonus to wash 1 time.
Pirates need 160int in total per level to get 16 mp bonus to wash 1 time.

Let’s assume that you are a Level 200 Thief with 4000 MP
    Min MP Formula for after 2nd job Thieves = level x 14 + 148
    The thief minimum MP that he can’t remove is (200 x 14 + 148) = 2948
So, this thief could place at least (4000 MP – 2948 MP = 1052 MP) into his/her HP!
    Then you need to do:
1052/12= amount of hp washes you can do

what you say is that i need +36 INT gears to be able to wash 1 time if im a warrior! thats a lot of INT gears to wash 1 time!
even worse for a pirate with 160int!
thanks for explaining, now i need to figure out how to get +36 INT!

you can put some AP into INT so u have 40base int, or get a bathrobe, earrings, zakum helmet, shoes, shield, weapon(wand), eye accesory, gloves with INT so you don't have to add some of your AP into INT. and since your a warrior u need to devide by 4!
What i did before with the 1052/12 now you need to do /4 since your a warrior!

yeah, i get it that warrior need less then some other classes. i dont even want to think about trying to figure that out. :)
first i need to get enough money to get all items and then start a warrior from level1.
i read somewhere then i need +100 washes to get to the desired max HP (for spearman) so i really need low-level items so i can start early.
i could do like you say adding +INT in my base stats (and later on AP-reset) will of course make it harder to levelup but it could save me money and i could do more washing.
so in the end this "washing" trick is what we need if we want to be successful with the big bad bosses!
