So I'm trying to get MapleRoyals to work properly. I have a Mac which also can run Windows Vista. I tried using the Mac download first and everything was going perfectly fine until I tried logging into my character. Doing so sent me back to the main screen. I noticed a few others had this problem and I tried doing the solutions but they didn't seem to work. I decided I would try the Windows version. During installation, it comes up with an error message and stops. I would love to play this server but it's a bummer I can't get either versions up and running.
Do you have an antivirus program running on your Windows machine? Looks like your antivirus program is blocking access to the files the setup needs to run.
I actually just noticed that whenever that error report pops up, my antivirus program pops up saying it just detected something. I've allowed the items so we'll see if that works. Thanks!
I got it to download!!! But unfortunately I still have the Login error that sends me back to the main page just like on the Mac side. Any suggestions?
