I haven't played maplestory in a long time. I hate the changes that have been made. V62 is my favorite version, and since this was a low rate that sounded nice I thought why not? My current experiences with the game... -I couldn't log in, took me about 10 minutes because I kept on getting that stuck logged in issue. -Made me go through tutorial island with none of the quests working. Tedious and boring. -Henesys Hunting Grounds and Perion Street Corner were empty, how am I supposed to level? Where is the nostalgia? -GM's didn't reply to my messages I don't know, guys. I want to enjoy maplestory but this server feels so half assed. No quests, no nostalgia, no fun. I can see how the server gets fun once you've started out, but I don't have that patience.
- You need to replace your client with the one posted in this thread. - Probably bugging because of incorrect client, I played through Maple Island on a new character yesterday just fine, all quests worked for me. The only thing that didn't work was a portal in the split map in Channel 1. - Sadly, this server has some people that likes to screw up maps and not report them. You can do this by obtainint the quest glitch that will make monsters not drop any items/meso and also cause them to not respawn. If you read the yellow scrolly text on top you would know this. - GM's have lives outside of Maple too, patience is key. Just trying to explain why you encountered these problems. This is actually one of the best maintained PServers available, and it's evidently shown in the amazing growth of people after the server wiped a couple of months ago. Sad to see you go, if you don't have the patience, but you're gonna miss out
I'll take full responsibility for everything that happened to you; I'm the GM on duty at the moment and I had to take a rather important call, so I was away from the computer for about 15 minutes, after which I came back, saw your GM messages and tried to contact you, having missed you by a hair. My apologies on behalf of the server.
Because that's a GM's job. - Download the latest client in the homepage. - You must be doing something wrong, because I did most of the quests in Maple Island. I only experienced 2/3 of them that didn't work. - There are only 150 players online most of the time. Invite your friends to the server and play with them if it's so empty. - PM one of them in the forums if they're not on or just make a thread. I think by "empty" he meant without monsters. See, sometimes when you're in a party or have quests going, it glitches, and the monster spawns get screwed up. GMs are usually really busy so they can't always reply to ~gm
